NCR

Author: UniversalLibrary

Latest Update v1.1 - 15 April 2019 Released - 14 April 2019

This Faction Pack has two file types (use only one!) - Good Guys or Bad Guys, Basically.

The Conqueror Version
Works much like the raider version does in SS: Conqueror. The NCR here aren't really the good guys, which is much like those tales people tell about how intolerant the NCR was when they swept into town. That main file allows you to take over the Commonwealth with the NCR in their more nefarious aspect. During Outpost raids you kill everyone there and your NCR troopers remain behind to solely populate it. In Vassal raids you kill their hired guns and force the settlers/civs to work the land for you (but your troopers wander back home after the raid). For Slave Outposts you kill the hired guns, civilians are made captives/slaves and your troopers will remain there to ensure their compliance; et tu, legionarius?

The Liberator Version
Uses SS: Conqueror's other faction type. Perhaps you want the NCR to operate more like the Minutemen rather than straight out killers and 'raiders'. Liberator is in fact how the Minutemen Faction Pack works to give you a better understanding. You can convert an existing allied settlement into an HQ/Outpost with civilians present, and the NCR and civilians will live side by side. Instead of making settlers captives and slaves, the NCR offer protection, and the civilians need support from you (just like normal settlements). Become allied and build a War Desk. Simple!

Faction: NCR
Assault Support: Yes
Defender Support: Yes
Decorations: Yes
Soundscape: No

Recruitment resources for this faction are:
Major: Stimpacks, Purified Water

Latest Update v2.1 - 7 April 2019 Released - 16 March 2019

This Faction Pack has two file types (use only one!) - Good Guys or Bad Guys, Basically.

The Conqueror Version
Works much like the raider version does in SS: Conqueror. The Triggermen here aren't good guys. That main file allows you to take over the Commonwealth with Triggerman. During Outpost raids you kill everyone there and your Triggermen remain behind to solely populate it. In Vassal raids you kill their hired guns and force the settlers/civs to work the land for you (but your Triggermen wander back home after the raid). For Slave Outposts you kill the hired guns, civilians are made captives/slaves and your Triggermen will remain there to ensure their compliance.

The Liberator Version
Uses SS: Conqueror's other faction type. Perhaps you want the Triggermen to operate more as a racket rather than straight out killers and 'raiders'. Liberator is in fact how the Minutemen Faction Pack would work to give you a better understanding. You can convert an existing allied settlement into an HQ/Outpost with civilians present, and the Triggermen and civilians will live side by side. Instead of making settlers captives and slaves, the Triggermen offer protection, a racket, and the civilians need support from you (just like normal settlements). Become allied and build a War Desk. Simple!
