Primary Bug Report New Plots on the Block - Jake and Old Paul become non-interactable after building plots and quest fails to continue

So, I am a bit disappointed. I was quite excited with the release, but I am stuck in Sanctuary. Look, I know there have always been issues with the Sanctuary quest and SS, but this has just ceased being fun. I have built the requiresite plots for old Pauly, but noone is building them. I have tried auto-assign. I have tried manual assignment. I have tried starting the Sanctuary quests to "activate" the original settlers. Nothing. I have been sitting at 4 houses for like 2 days now. I have disabled the auto assign in workshop frameworks, but it has changed nothing. I will try to upload a save.

I have loved this mod, and I have endorsed and supported it (in a very small way), but please, mark beta releases as beta releases!

had a similar issue. i fast traveled to concord entered the museum and waited 2 days. fast traveled back to sanctuary and quest completed
 
I found I had to complete the first minutemen quest - the one that results in clearing Corvega Assembly Plant - before everything just seemed to start working
 
Hello i was playing the storyline of sim settlements i have some bugs like missing audios but nothing what don¨t let me advance in the story,but in the quest new plots in the block i build the recreational plot and martial plot with jake and all runs smoothly but when i complete all the objetivees,jake says:ok,lets continue building and the quest just dont continues stuck forever.Thanks

Thanks, will give it a try. Updated to the hotfix, will hit the quest.

Other weird things I noticed: Settlers won't touch a residential or industrial plot, but man, I even think about a agricultural plot and BAM I am like 17 food already.
 
Hi, I've tried just about everything I can think of for this one. Tried to add a recreation, martial and commercial plot to my settlement but when it's put down, all Jake and Old Paul do is trade with me like a settler. I've tried all 3 at the same time, all 3 separate, destroying everything in a settlement and placing all 3 2x2 variants of the plots but the quest will not move forwards, Jake and Old Paul just do nothing? Short of uninstalling and reinstalling SS2 does anyone have any suggestions?

Go back to a save where jake asks you if he should head to your settlement or not and say no and the quest will complete.
