Addon Pack Registration Failed. Anybody Else Experience This?

Played an hour last night to set up SS2 for myself, and find myself at Red Rocket with the Stranger after only an hour of playtime.
When I loaded my saved game, I got this message:

Addon pack registration failed. The registered name in the config object field sAddonFilename: SS2.esm does not match the registered forms.

I can only select "OK" to close the screen.
Is this something I should be concerned about?
I only have the tutorial plot down, and only an hour into the game, so restarting isn't an issue.

Edit:
I quit the game and updated Vortex. The message has disappeared now.

So you get the error when using f4se loader directly? Or through mo2? If its the former, that's to be expected. None of your mods installed through MO2 would be active.
Thanks for explaining. I'm not very bright.

When I launch through the MO2 F4SE launch option, F4SE is not active. I get the $NO_F4SE error. :-( I gather my stuffed animals around me and cry myself to sleep.

I admit I'm not extremely versed with F4SE either but I watched some vids (type "mo2 and f4se" on youtube to be exact), did some mumbo-jumbo and "it just works". I guess you want to check in MO2 and extensions to check if paths are correct (it must point to the f4se loader file). And double check if you followed F4SE instructions correctly. If you do, command getf4seversion should return something. Every guide also says to not install FO4 in program files, to do that most painlessly I found the best solution is to not install Steam in program files. Or use another hard drive.

I think I might have this fixed. Lots of screwing around and editing the custom.ini file.

The only weird thing now is there is still a $ symbol in front of MCM and some of it's components. It still seems to work though. I can call the F4SE version from within game.

I also had to disable Advanced Animation Framework for some reason.

Thanks for putting in some time and attention. I appreciate it.

This solution did not work for me. I re-installed F4SE. I copied the Scripts from the archive Data folder to Scripts in the Game folder. I launch using MO2 using the F4SE option. I started a new playthrough many, many hours ago (I'm LVL 90) just so I could experience SS2/SS2C2.
sidebar: In MCM, there are $ variable name: $MOD_CONFIG, $MCM_SETTINGS, $MCM_HOTKEY_MANAGER,
Any solutions? Hints? Help?
