Neeher's Expanded Settlement Area Mods

Thanks, Jose ... that's where I have been placing my expansion mod as well... I also have Horizon about that as 3rd to last... or the 10 different plugins that go with it....

Haha. I have to get rid of one more mod so I can re-install G2M... darn limits.

HAHA... omg... just downloaded that last version of Neeher's last night and now I see there is a new version on Nexus. Neeher - you are killing me...

oh, as well as settlement menu manager... sigh... I will never get a game completed... haha :)

Well, when I live in country and I am on mobile hotspot downloading at 10 to 100kbps, I will be thinking of you!

I wasn't really kidding about spacing out all the revs... haha... would be nice to actually play the game versus nightly updating mods... and then falling asleep on couch...

John

EDIT - you mean "good now" till the next time... uh huh... :)

Ok the issue fixed it self went for a lilltle walk over to abernathys and when i came back they where working at there plots. And this is a new game I am using it to start a new youtube series should have the first episode up tonight or tomorrow morning

Date of next release is tomorrow where it's going to have a really kick butt feature set and a custom radio station that replaces the Diamond City DJ with an Oxhorn live audio feed.

We love ya Neeher... Don't listen to the naysayers, more bug fixes mean the best mod possible in the shortest amount of time.

Which is mod released tomorrow with all that great stuff?! :)

And I am not a naysayer... just humor tank.

EDIT - Ox is providing the stogies and beer right? LOL

Possible to combine into one DLC Mod, commonwealth and Far Harbor? Some seem to like pushing that 255 number... of course, won't say how many are environmental or clothing, looks etc....

John

Ok this mod is making me seriously want to start playing a new Fallout game. But I need to wait for a new video card. But man I really want to build some sweet settlements. :<3:

Yeah John it wouldn't be too hard to combine them yourself. I don't want to throw another mod up just for that though, it's a little excessive haha. Perhaps when I do that one in Nuka World I'll make an all in one with the DLC!

Get the new card already!

New Card? haha.... credit card? :)

An all in one would be awesome... I haven't the knowledge to merge mods.... or time to find out - building a tiny house when it isn't dark! :)

@Neeher : You have probably been asked already but i checked out the size of 'Hangmans alley' and now it is worth building there, but are the enemy spawn points in the same two spots? Good job by the way. :)

Don't forget to post a link here so we can watch it!

@Neeher , First, thanks for your mods I'm very happy to see you on this board, your mod goes very well with Sim settlements.

Onto my questions. I finally built so e plots around Jamaica plain, some withing the original border, and some outside of it. my plots are being built, and after leaving and returning my settlers are going to their residential and industrial plots, but they only seem to stand around the edge of their plots, and when they sandbox they ignore everything else, eventually returning to their assigned plot to stand around at the edge again.

My question is, do you think this problem would solve itself with starting a new game? I know you can't guarantee anything considering load order and mod list and everything, but I figured you'd be the one to ask. I really like the idea of having new settlement borders, but am wondering if it is worth putting anymore time into this playthrough. I also don't want to erase my progress if the issue is likely to be the same.

Thanks for any input, and I appreciate the time you must've put into these settlement extension mods!

has anyone noticed a drop in FPS with this mod installed? I know it sounds crazy but I figured it might be caused by what was done to make the previously unscrappable objects able to be scrapped. I'm not an expert on the game engine and Neeher definitely I rely knows more than i do, the one thing I have learned though is that objects are grouped together for performance and most scrap mods have to seperate them to be able to scrap them, and that affects performance.

just thought I'd ask becuae since installing this mod, hangman's alley gets pretty choppy with a 5 to 10 drop in fps

And... In my situation I have come to the conclusion as my Sim-Build gets better and Bigger this happens. So much so I will have a new computer build by Tuesday. The Boston area around HA already has a lot going on. You can turn-off some sound, automatons, and culter in the sim-halotape? I think it just all adds up. I love the larger areas so I pay a price.
