So you are thinking that all of the original issues like with settlers not using the expanded areas is fixed now?

So far so good, but I went the scorched earth route and started a new game. As you can see from my pictures the HUD is working and reporting correctly and settlers are using plots in the expanded areas.

Well excellent. It looks like this mod is the real deal now. My "from scratch" Murkwater build has been functioning correctly as well.

He better be careful or he will end up being adopted as the go to guy for sim settlements and people will find his stuff as useful as they do the low poly puzzle pieces... oh wait... too late.

I prefer lone wanderer mode... though I have tried the Heather Companion mod... was interesting banter between Heather and Piper... Catty! The entertainment alone is worth the admission.

EDIT - JOSE - you use G2M mod for the docks and such?

I found things were working OK with Neeher's mod until I put the latest version of it in (1.1) and it broke my SS plots. Well, it didn't break existing plots per-se as they still functioned. But any new plots, no matter where I built them (vanilla area or expanded area) wouldn't build as settlers wouldn't assign to them and I couldn't manually assign settlers to anything, including vanilla things like crops and defense structures like vanilla towers. I figured a new game might fix things so I've done this. Not sure right now how things are...was too tired to do more than get out of the vault last night but will hopefully see tonight if things are working right or not.

Sigh...my lack of self discipline regarding mods is why I've never finished a full game of Fallout 4. Did the same things with FO3 and FONV until I got to a happy point with mods and finished the games. I haven't quite reached that point yet with FO4...but I'm almost there...I swear!
 
I had issues with starlight out of orig borders but 1.2 I think fixed. They take a few hour and traveling away/fast traveling to get the hint but so ok. Haven't tried anywhere near all settlements though, also new game
 
Build and then play the game... don't worry about it! (in that voice of the guy with the Brooklyn or NJ accent).

Or build, change timescale so you get instant completion. I would not though do a whole settlement of build, then assign with the timescale of 1min=60mins ... your system will basically stop moving. My FPS dropped to 9fps... had to fast travel out of the settlement... came back later... it was all good.

Thanks Jose. I am just updating all the sim/addons and such... ready to start a new game as well... I like the G2M stuff... docks, boat, fish nets. I also downloaded the latest release of Horizon.

Of course, it seems like I end up starting new games and meeting Preston way too much. haha.

Just curious, where do you place the Neeher's mod in LO? I have been running Build High for about ever... and have generally put it towards the last before scrap everything.

EDIT - had to make sure I got the latest "Always Free" addon :)
 
Scrap Everything is always at the bottom of my load order. I think Neeher's mod is at the top of mine. I will check when I get home.
