Resolved SLI and invisible plot objects?

Has anyone else had issues with invisible chairs, tables, etc. particularly on internal plots? I have. It started to get really annoying. I normally had SLI with two Nvidia (GTX 1080ti) cards and with ENB running so I disabled both and rebooted. I repeated the test from the same game save every time. The specific location was level 2 Country Crossing and base Sim Settlement plots such as "basic bedroom", "priorities", and "gourmand". I rebooted before each test.

I've had issues in the past with specific city objects usually (but not always) being invisible. Objects like the Egret Marina barge halves; one or both. They still have collision and you can walk on them but not see them. Placing a new copy of the object from the blueprint mod creates invisible objects.

When I run with a single card and no ENB the objects display correctly. Nothing is missing.
A single card + ENB was the same with no issues.
SLI and no ENB - the issue returned for the exact same plots and invisible objects.
SLI and ENB - same as just SLI.

I doubt this is a Sim Settlement issue but do other Nvidia SLI users have this problem? AMD SLI? Does anyone with SLI *not* have this issue?

I've been away from gaming due to back issues for months so thought I'd try FO4 again.

That's bizarre - also not super shocking given how Fallout 4's performance can vary so dramatically from different hardware setups. I unfortunately never invested in SLI, so I can't join you in this testing.

Cranky Cat, I have the same cards and run them in sli.

I have never had the issue you are describing?

I have used an ENB extensively for years now and only in the last month or so removed it and a lot of my texture mods but never experienced that before? If I read anything or start to experience it I will shoot you a PM.

Still, I do not plan to start using an ENB again anytime soon, for some reason I am enjoying its absence. My old one was also a fairly lite one.

The problems I had with certain city plan objects always being invisible stopped when I switched to a single card as well; i.e. the Egret barge halves. I do use custom texture mods with a selection of FlaconOil, VividOil, and Valius that I removed from loose files and added to a custom texture archive to get rid of stutters early on. I don't go over 2k anymore and leave textures alone since I went through and compared to pick what I wanted. I've always used the "Subtle ENB" but disabling it made no difference. I run at 3440x1440 and have the default uGridsToLoad (5)and uExterialCellsToLoad (47).

Perhaps the issue is related to texture memory and SLI? I played all yesterday with a single card and the invisible textures problem never happened once. I have 11GB of memory on the cards so if it was just that I'd think people with less memory would have the issue too. I don't use a non-default SLI profile or anything but disable vSync and limit frame rates to 58 FPS with the NVidia settings. I guess I could try disabling G-Sync and using vSync, etc.

Actually, it appears that the problem is disabling vSync with SLI. If I enable vSync then the display issues appear to go away. Still, SLI doesn't seem to be doing much for the frame rate in this game for me so disabling it wasn't really noticeable!
