I have been building at sanctuary and Abernathy Farm for the past 2 days irl and 8 days in-game and these people just stand around and DONT use their plots and it’s driving me insane.
Let’s talk about Abernathy, Connie and what’shisname were automatically assigned to an industrial plot that requires 2 people. The husband used the plot no problem at first, but Connie just stands there, either in the plot or in the vanilla tato patch watching them grow. Sometimes the husband does the same. My settlers act like the plots aren’t navmeshed for some reason and there’s nothing in their way getting to the plots because it’s big open space at the Abernathy farm.
I have other settlers like the powell family along with Franklin that absolutely don’t use their house and their brahmin is stuck inside the Abernathy’s house. They don’t use their house during the day or the night when they should be sleeping.
I tested Connie however and assigned her to some workstations that weren’t sim settlement plots, they came from the housekeeping mod and she gets to them just fine
I found a mod that may help with children settlers using plots (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/49037?tab=description) , but maybe we need something that can automatically teleport ALL absent minded settlers to their plots as a system. I want my settlements to look alive and that is impossible with people standing around
