Kingsport Lighthouse Bugs for RotC

Are they sitting exactly on top of each other or just slightly rammed together?

The entire back area of the Red Wave gets swallowed basically, you can still access the cabin to go elsewhere, just no access to the bed area.

Not really game breaking, I can live with it if it means I don't have to basically ever enter workshop mode haha.
 
Seems that if you activate the desk / assign leader and choose city plan you get stuck with a mission to build a recruitment beacon that will never go away. This happened when preston assigned it as a task for me.
Tried removing the one that comes with the city plan and building a new one and it still wont register that I did it.

Save and load that save. That will trigger the completion of building the beacon and the quest will proceed as normal.
 
Thanks for the tip I had already reverted to a save and finished the quest before implementing the city plan.
 
I'm not quite sure if it is a bug, but I figure the easiest way to get an answer is ask.
According to the HUD, the city plan for the Kingsport Lighthouse settlement accounts for 11 people, and that is the amount where recruitment for the settlement cut off. However, according to the workshop, there are 14 beds in the settlement. And going through the settlement, I found 3 additional indoor recreation/commercial plots, as well as what looks like space for 2 additional exterior residential plots, and 1 interior residential plot.

The settlement itself is currently at level 2, and the leader is Deacon, but neither of those should have an impact on settler limits for the city plan, as far as I understand?

So, is there a bug of some sort? Or am I simply missing something incredibly obvious?
 
Ok so I'm getting a bug I haven't seen reported elsewhere.
Built a generator, a beacon and a water purifier, got settlers in, told the first settler to link to finch farm.

Build a city planners desk, first I told Mrs Nordhagen to be the city leader. Error message comes up "Can't build without a city leader." I go to nordhagen beach, tell sheffield he's no longer mayor and Mrs Nordhagen is, tell Sheffield to go to the lighthouse. I fast travel there. he's not here but I can select him to be the mayor of the lighthouse. Same error message. I go back to the city planner desk, and it says that Sheffield is now the mayor of kingsport lighthouse. Nothing is building, none of the camera focus stealing to do the flyby, nothing.

Edit: I don't know where Sheffield is, but I had preston as my companion. I made him the mayor and the flyby sequence started.
