HQ requires a serious remake to be fun

In the current state the HQ building is extremly gated and not fun. From the fact that some projects take multiple days to complete, i assume that the developers intended to make expanding HQ something you start and then go do something else, while it finishes. The problem is in it's current state it's easier to sleep in the bed in the HQ for the inteded time as when you decide to upgrade the HQ, you focus on upgrading it, it's not something that you just do from time to time.
This is due to multiple problems, one of which is:
Let's say you have a job you need to do. It takes two people 1 whole day to do it, but you are only by yourself. What do you do? Do you:
a)Do the job, it just takes you roughly 2 days instead of one
b)Do not do the job as to clean some rubble you apparently just NEED a second person.
Do you see the problem? Department energy shouldn't be a limiter, it should be a way to speed up the work. Instead of limiting the amount of work you can order, the department energy should mean the amount of work that department can do in a day. So if, for example, you need to clear the rubble on the main level and it takes 80 department energy, and you make 20 a day, it would take you 4 days to complete it. Imagine having an actual work queue that you can add multiple work orders that would start immedietly after the other one is finished.
The same with logistics. I have a lot of resources, but because i don't have scrap logistics(?) i can't use them? Resources are (supposed to be) delivered daily, why does not having enough scrap currently prevent me from ordering to build something?
I also don't understand why the main room with the globe is one of the last things you get to clean up. Usually when people clean something, they start closest to the place where you can throw the trash out, why do i have to slug through the gunner barricades and sandbags to get to my nice clean appartment?
And of course there are bugs. Dear god, the bugs. Can't talk to The Ron -> can't get unique settlers with high SPECIAL, the upgrade medical laboratory 2 disappeared, had to chage the type of the room to fix it, lost 1000 rare materials (MULTIPLE TIMES. WHY DO WE NOT GET SOME MATERIALS BACK WHEN CHANGING THE ROOM?), the commonwealth rising quest is stuck (upgraded the powerplant to lvl 4, did the network thing, all objectives in the quest are grayed out, recieved call about my new terminal and then nothing). It was fine with chapter 1, as overall, the quality of the quests and interesting characters made it fun to play through, even if i had to suffer through bugs, but chapter 2 has barely any quests apart from the stuff you do in HQ.
Please, the mod is fun and you did a lot of work to make it work, but chapter 2 makes me and many others suffer. I saw that there is supposed to be an HQ 2.0 update, but I don't know what will be changed.
