Alternate Start question.

I only use it to skip the whole pre-war life part and skip to popping out of the cryo chamber. Does SS/IR/ROTC still have issues with it even if i'm coming out of the vault?
A terminal won't let you out of the cryo room until you put in a name and your special stats. Also gives traits you can choose.

I just don't know if it was this AS or another AS.

Just guessing... the Quick Start probably would be fine. The others.. aaaahh not so much.
Personally I use Ms.Vault111. Completely vanilla standing on the vault door.
I also used Fallout4 Respec Tool to create a bat files for different styles of playing styles.

I use the dontbeacheat mod, comes in .esl too, it adds an option to "Skip if you dare" button which if you use, allows a randomly generated number of messages (currently one) to say "I am Lore Unfriendly and Don't like playing Fallout 4 properly, Even though Vault 111 is boring as hell", and turns everyone against you, so you can't play fallout 4, or I just play it normally and cry badly when they take my baby boy and shoot my husband/wife and then I have to grab loads of kitchen roll and make myself a cuppa just to calm down.

well it can if you dont have it in the right load order, I personally put it right between two slices of bread, loads in my mouth nicely

I've had no problems using Start Me Up with Sim Settlements. The one time I thought it was causing problems it turned out to be the Tunnel Snakes CC content breaking the main quest. As far as I know, you can use any of the starting options and it won't break SS at all.

The one in the Wiki that breaks SS is "Alternate Start - Infinite Answer". That one messes with the workshops and hasn't been updated in over 2 years.
