I like to imagine the ASAMs are actually instructing people on how to make clean, decent looking housing, and the settler's illiteracy and lack of carpentry skills are what produce the big piles of haphazardly nailed together shacks.
Also, the talk about the ASAM's AI makes me imagine one lone...
I always like seeing how many of the fixes seem to be specifically for things Kottabos ran into in his latest video. ;D
I swear, you guys need to get him on the QA team because he will find every bug and glitch instantly.
Same here. The screen in the elevator ride fades to black like it's going to start a cutscene, then the elevator dings, the doors open, and you come back to an nonhostile level 1 Berman. Killing him seems to progress, but I'd really like it to work correctly as I've been looking forward to...
Is there supposed to be quest completion music? I've been noticing on my latest play-through that the game is eerily silent while giving me my XP, and I thought you guys might've added a custom tune that's supposed to play there. Anybody else hear anything when a SS quest finishes?
Hunh, that's weird, I put a trough down by their house, and Nessie is still parked in the middle of the floor in the Sanctuary workshop house. She's sat right at the feet of Mama Murphy, though, so maybe they get along. Maybe I need to go back and make sure I actually put a trough down and not...
I had to hunt down some of the Gunners, as they had wandered off to fight the raiders at Zimonja. And then I had to come back and stand in the right spot (about where the fight started) to get the convo that finishes things.
Now that I think about it, are you talking about the settler leads he gives you? Or the ones he offers to sell you after? Yeah, those next two are probably on my list.
No, yeah, I got all his main quest stuff out of the way first, so no problem there. It's just when I stayed around after to talk to him and got that radiant quest that's acting wonky.
So after I met him in the SS2 storyline, I asked The Ron for a job, and he gave me what seems to be a radiant quest to go get a holotape from Mass Turnpike Tunnel. So far, all good. Found the holotape in the boss chest there, except it was named "Holotape Name" and it didn't advance the quest...
I had the weird experience where I found the button first, but I didn't click it, because I don't click big red buttons until I'm absolutely sure what they're for. So then I found the floor mats, and moved them, and saw that the hatch was locked. So then I clicked the big red button to unlock...
Well, glad I'm not going crazy. I started a quick and dirty new game with the same load order, and those obstacles were no longer there, or at least, they weren't in the same places.
Best one keeps Preston perpetually trapped underneath some stairs, so I'm not 100% if I want the problem fixed.
Is anyone else having the same trouble with seemingly randomly placed invisible obstacles in their settlements? I got them bad in Sanctuary. Reminds me of Conqueror and the randomly placed raider decorations, except there's nothing there.
