Primary Bug Report General - Invisible obstacles appearing in Sanctuary

Is anyone else having the same trouble with seemingly randomly placed invisible obstacles in their settlements? I got them bad in Sanctuary. Reminds me of Conqueror and the randomly placed raider decorations, except there's nothing there.
 
I was experiencing this myself as I was recording video. I think it may be the city plan bleeding through even though I haven't yet reached that part of the questline. Markers for idles maybe too?

I haven't noticed those. But at my first try-out, I installed SS Superstructures and that spammed buildings (or parts of buildings) all over the place. I noticed there is a new version out now, which I haven't tried yet. But maybe this new version still leaves invisible bits and pieces?
 
I have also noticed invisible “bumps” throughout Sanctuary.

Do those “bumps” occur in a vanilla + DLC game? I’m not in a position to test anything for a while.
 
I've noticed this as well. I had assumed it was caused by another mod (I have a few sanctuary restoration type mods installed), but I just double checked and the invisible poles (?) are still there with only SS2 installed.
 
Well, glad I'm not going crazy. I started a quick and dirty new game with the same load order, and those obstacles were no longer there, or at least, they weren't in the same places.

Best one keeps Preston perpetually trapped underneath some stairs, so I'm not 100% if I want the problem fixed.

This has the implication that the first condition happened when putting SS2 in an existing game.

It is best with a new game, and absolutely should not be used in a game where you have removed SS1.
(removing mods overall is bad - removing script heavy mods, like ss1 is really bad).

Just to clarify, this was on a new game. When first starting SS2 I put together a new load order and started a new game.

The only visible bump in the vanilla / DLC game is around the tree stump behind the hedges by the chem station.

I've found these invisible 'posts' as well, and uninstalling SS2 and its expansions remedies the problem. I'm going to do some troubleshooting and let you guys know what I find.

EDIT: It's a problem that seems to be caused by the base mod. No other expansions are installed save for SS2.

Also, my current game was started from a vanilla save file with no mods and never had SS1 installed.

Have you guys tried the latest beta over in the news/patches subforum - 1.0.2c? I had these for ages too and that seems to have resolved them.
