You're Pretty Good... (Bug Report)


Sneaak (or however his name is spelled) spawned under the world between the Sanctuary Bridge and the RR. I couldn't get him out. I was able to use TCL to go down there and complete his quest.

Is that under the pile of rocks at the end of the bridge (red rocket side) on the Abernathy side of the road? If so, I had a NPC spawn under the terrain as well.

Yes it has happened in that same spot once before.

Apart from the Advanced Turret Set and SS2 required/related, we have nothing in common in our load orders!
Longer Power Lines
This can be folded into a startup.bat. (just a fancy way to say list of console commands at startup) There is a good post on Reddit on how to do this. Google fallout 4 reddit startup.bat There are quite a few other useful things that can be tucked in here like speeding up the terminal display rate, turn off god rays, turn off character lighting, etc. Basically, if there's a console command you can run it at game startup automatically.

!!!!! You should really wean yourself from this! I'm sure no further comment is required.

I have heard this breaks pre-combines and causes a couple of glitches. I can't say for sure as I have not used it.

This also breaks pre-combines in settlements. It makes the triangle of death a powder keg just waiting to blow! Try Whisper's (bionicyardiff on Nexus) Mod:

I have not heard of this. I wonder if it breaks my patch??
Anyway, if you end up starting a new game, you may want to consider the above. I didn't see any huge red flags (other than scrap everything) but you do have quite a few mods I'm not familiar with. As @yaugieLC said above, its a vanilla spawn issue.

I really want to load up your plots, but I'm on a "wasteland scavver" run... maybe the next game?

I have 16 settlers at Sanctuary, 10ish at Abernathy and Codsworth at Red Rocket (empty) with most plots L3 and I start to get fps drops in that area (GTX 1070 @ 1080p), so I am done building there.

Actualy, conveyor belts dropping items to the floor or under the world, or items/ NPCs seeming to spawn in or under the world where they are not supposed to, is actualy a “feature” of the game engine. Basicaly It is something that rendered in the game world, before the item it’s suposed to be on is rendered, it will drop to the currently rendered ground, unless the object is functionally pinned in place So it can’t fall, unless you interact with it. this is why the pool balls on the table in Vault tech stay in place, and why many quest items don’t go flying around even ehen hit by a nuke
