Wisdom... (screenshots)

I remember thinking, "My 2060 can handle anything this game can throw at me" and turning all the setting to max.

Without realizing I had turned Weapon Debris on without a mod fix for it.

And then my rig just completely shit the bed.
I alway turn off WD by default. I've learn NOT to forget the hard way too.

Mine are maxed out minus godrays and I only have a gtx 970 and I never have fps issues at 1080. Unless in ToD but that's another monster. Heck I was getting 30 fps at full uhd.
GTX 1070 here , trying to get it more detailed . so Weapon Debris needs to be turned off ( ohw it was turned off :D bNVFlexEnable=0) and then we can maximize more

I did a run with uGridsToLoad=7 on a GTX 1070 once.
The good was there was a lot less objects just popping into view and a better view distance overall. It was good for a sniper build. There seemed to be less issues with Spectacle Island as well.
The bad was you could trigger more random and scripted encounters being rendered simultaneously causing fps drops. This was especially noticeable downtown. Loading to an exterior cell also took more time with a chance of CTD. It was also a lot easier to partial load a settlement.

Does she mean the other Unique Settler, the 'security contractor' guy who carries a Minigun?

I just liked this shot, it's not anything particularly special.

I just really liked that almost all of Sanctuary were sitting down to chill out together like this.

I bet Preston is drawing a diagram for Sheffield of all the settlements that need our help

... I need to put Sheffield back in his traditional Nuka Cola branded jacket.

... can't decide on a "uniform" to put all my Settlers in. I think I'm going to go with this, but with a Combat helmet (since I have a mod that makes the light on those actually work - the "weather/lighting" mod I run makes night time friggin DARK) instead of the Metal one.
Yeah that's full Metal (Heavy) armor, painted white, made using the combo of crafting mods people on here recommended some time ago. Being that colour should stop me "accidentally" shooting my own dudes in the back all the time...

I'd go with full Combat (Heavy), but that crafting mod makes Combat Armor cost Ballistic Fiber to craft; that stuff's too expensive to be going through that much of it to outfit probably 40 people total with.
Not pictured: The PP-19 'Bizon' SMG I decided will now be my standard-issue weapon to my settlers.

I've found that Ballistic Fiber is a lot easier to come by if you're using Unique NPCs - Creatures and Monsters, if only because there are several new "dungeons" focused around RadSpiders and those RadSpiders drop spinnerets that can be broken down into Ballistic Fiber. I managed to deck out a couple of Minutemen that patrol the Castle with heavy versions.

I really want to use that, but it hard-requires AWKCR according to the Nexus page. Although I see from the comments there's a "non-AWKCR" version up now (that also explicitly names SS2 as being compatible)... 3.5GB, though... will have to leave myself a note to download that when I get home from work tonight.

EDIT: Yeah, Nexus 'free download' is estimating time to completion measured in Days, not Hours... maybe not.

It was making the BDINK noise it makes when you sights-up on someone every few seconds for the entire first half of this dialog sequence (until everyone agrees to "put their guns away")

Dude must be ripped AF under that outfit.

I'm legit surprised they didn't hide an easter egg on his stat screen.
Yeah, even just sneaking a 'location' in there of where he lives and letting people seek that out on their own...

That explains a lot! The scene might be using the 3rd person "look through scope" animation to pull off "pointing a gun at you." It would go a long way to explain why see through scope type mods break this scene! Good find! :drinks

I'm not too sure letting Grilled Steak mix the drinks tonight was a wise move; must be why Ventilator is drinking his through his gas mask.

(displayed Plot is "Nuclear Nellie's" Interior Commercial: Bar from Wasteland Venturers - that's the big shed at Sunshine Tidings, threw a couple seats and a ceiling light in too)

Grilled Steak LOL, he makes a great bartender or I put him on the Food Truck

Not directly SS2 related, as such, but this made me chuckle.

The fact that she sat down at the City Planners Desk while saying this line makes it look like she read the exact spelling of the name on the computer screen.
