Some RotC observations/questions

So at this moment in time I'm only using RotC at Sanctuary (mainly because I've started a new game and don't want to tie up all of my possible companions) and I have it set to plots being Designers Choice rather than random (so I assume will only use vanilla SS plots unless I manually change them to a addon plot). I've got the following observations/questions:

- The settlers have started building Industrial Plots around the circle with the tree in the middle. They are only using basic industrial plots rather than advanced industrial. Will they place Advanced Industrial plots autonomously? Considering there is only one vanilla Basic Industrial plot type (which is replicated and improved anyway in the advanced types) this seems a bit poop.

- Will the settlers ever autonomously build any water purifiers, wells etc? No sign of any so far.

- Can anyone explain how electricity works in RotC? I've noticed the plots placed by the settlers are apparently powered, despite there being no sign of any generators or cables anywhere, and any plots placed by me need to be powered as normal. This became especially annoying when I was replacing the basic industrial plots mentioned in my previous point with advanced industrial plots.

1) Nope, Advanced Industrial in the city plans would require a dependency on IR that we didn't want to force. You'll probably want to place your own advanced industrials and a few residentials for the workers somewhere if you want to have them there. I'd also recommend loading an addon with a few different industrial types in and doing some creative plot changing :)

2) Yes, sortof

3) Things built by the city plan are powered by the city plan via underground power lines. Things you build will still need to be powered though. We tried to include enough of a realistic power grid in the city plans that you could at least get power to where you need it even if the only place you can find to throw in a generator is clear on the other side of town.

Thanks brother :)

Honestly I forgot that IR was a separate mod to vanilla SS, so yeah that makes sense. I've manually swapped them out for Advanced Industrial plots and put them back as close to the original positioning as I could. Hopefully won't break anything.

Just noticed that when donating supplies you can donate things like Cram, Sugar Bombs etc and they count as stockpiled food. Thats a nice touch, thanks for that - I'm sure my settlers must be sick of corn and gourd by now and want to chow down on some fancy lads snack cakes

You can in fact donate everything so be careful so you don't accidently donate that perfect weapon you have or anything else important.
Like I did. Luckily I noticed it right away, since I play in survivalmode I don't have a lot of saves to revert back to. :)
