Hi, although I select a settler to move location and all seems OK, the settler does not move and population counts stays the same. Help! anybody else had this issue?

sounds like script lag, how many population in the settlement?

Tried that update, but no luck. I cant do the following:
Assign settlers to stalls
Move a settler to another settlement
Setup a trade route.

Not noticing any other issues.

what happens when you toggle AI off ("tai" in console), give it a good realtime several minutes and then toggle it back on?

Specs:
Intel i5 6400 @ 2.7Ghz
8Gb ram
GEForce GTX 1050 Ti (8Gb
Windows 10

Mods (in load order):
HUDFramework
TrueStorms
Unofficial Fallout4 Patch
Sim Settlements
Weightless Junk
Healthier Commonwealth
Improved map with visible roads
Holstered Weapons
Vault 1080
PCDugWedges
TrailerParkDream
WVSimSAddon
Industrial Cristy Sim Settlements
Settlement Menu Manager

System looks to be maybe a touch low on memory but the rest looks fine.

I'd try pulling the following to see if the crashes stop. Just keep a copy of the original save so you can replace the mods and be back in business once you find the one that's being annoying.
If the crashes stop once you pull the mods, put them back gradually until the settlers stop moving again. At that point you've found your culprit.

If the crashes can be traced to Sim Settlements, we can rule any chance of an addon interaction out by simply removing the addons.

Keep in mind that SS will replace unloaded plot types in the save with another plot of the same type which I've seen cause problems with crashes in some older versions of addons. Your goal is to get the settlements to do that once all of the addons are unloaded.

With this in mind, don't quick travel to your settlements after doing this, travel close and walk in slowly, give SS a chance to make the swapouts and kill off threads that don't need to be loaded.

I would add back the SS addons first since those will have the most impact on your original save in terms of look and feel.

It's also possible that one of the addons has a hidden dependency on Industrial Revolution, so may be worthwhile to load that just to see if it corrects some of the issues.

Hi, after trying a number of things, still had no luck, so bit the bullet. Removed all mods and started new game. have slowly been reintroducing mods as going through levels. So far all OK, settlers respond to my request straight away, but cam take 30 seconds or so for the the number of settlers at location to go down once I have moved them. Although gutting to start again, I'm now using what I have learnt to structure and play the game better. Whats also been great, i that I am coming across scenarios that I didn't in my original quest.

You might want to hold off building settlements though. There's a game changing release of Sim Settlements coming very soon (hours).

And, yes, that is my experience as well. You quickly forget the old character and find new stuff on a new playthrough.
