Scrap Everything?

I'm on Xbox One and Immersive Cleaning and Clean my Settlement are not available. I do have Scrap That Settlement and Place Everywhere. Does STS conflict with SS2? I don't see any issues other than a workshop menu UI, but I am still fresh in the save.

I've had no issues with Scrap Everything. Just have to be careful about what I'm scrapping. Pretty sure I somehow managed to scrap the pool of water at Starlight Drive In in my last playthrough.

Turns out it is conflicting with clean my settlement! No matter what order I put them in.
What did you end up doing? I just installed Immersive Cleaning and Place Everywhere and made a new file only to immediately see roads flicker in and out in Sanctuary

Immersive Cleaning and Clean My Settlement began to conflict for me as well. Same weird "roads flickering in and out" business. Removing one or the other makes them work well enough, but having both makes the game have a small aneurysm in Sanctuary.

I got rid of immersive cleaning because I was still getting some flickering if I left just that one in. I’ve had a weird issue with clean my settlement (I assume) in Medford Hospital where everything kept disappearing until I killed one specific mutant. Otherwise I’ve managed without immersive cleaning and will do so until someone patches it (if that happens)
Given that some people don’t have an issue I guess there must be some third mod conflicting. Not sure which it could be as I’ve stripped out mods that I suspect could break precombines.

I'm no expert. I only know what I have read in the wiki and on mod pages. That said, I think SE is great and I have used it through hundreds of hours of gameplay along with SS1. It was on my list of essential mods up until I found these others. For me, the problem with SE is that it breaks precombines. Not a problem at the start but once I have gone through most of the settlements scrapping all the things I want to (which is pretty much every bush, hedge, vine, vehicle, and ruined building) my game starts to lag. I still have it for those objects that I just have to remove, but with my current mod setup, I am only breaking a few precombines and not hundreds. YMMV

Howdy all. I am coming back to FO4 and am wondering if anyone is still using this mod and their experience with SS2. I loved this mod in the past.
I am aware of the non-compatability with Boston FPS.

Alternatives?
When I used SE, I ended up with the surging molerat bug (can't save in or leave a closed cell with molerats and bloodbugs) and a borked Sanctuary. For some settlements I use MDF Grass Fix because he reconstructs precombines. It doesn't get all the trash but it does help with many. A few he does more extensive repair work, like Red Rocket and Croup Manor.

As i remember, immersive cleaning confict with boston fps fix, broken precombine or something.
Thats why flickering stuff happen.

Needed to be extremly carefull when using scrap everything.
So, looking for better alternate.

Immersive Cleaning uses rebuilded Precombines for the settlement to scrap the things. So it's not compatible with all mods, that edit or replace the precombines.
No BostonFPSfix (flickering at University Point) no Beantown Interiours (flickering at red rocket) no South of the Sea (Flickering murkwater Construction) repeatable crashes near quincy (vault 88 entrance).
I use Scrap everything again. It's bad for the performance (except downtown Boston) but it's compatible with nearly everything, as long as you are carefull what you scrap :)

Hey Kingath, maybe u could make a better scrapmod :D

Having done more research into how mods work I’m guessing the conflict may be All Settlements Expanded in that case. In which case too bad but I’ll take ASE over IC.

It’s just been brought to my attention that I’m using the lootable crates mod that breaks precombines so I’m going to swap that around to see if that’s the issue I’m having.

I used IC and ASE with no flickering. I did have to remove Repaired Red Rocket and Repaired Sanctuary Roofs due to flickering at Red Rocket
Yup you’re right. It’s the Lootable Vault Tec Containers and Crates mod that was breaking Immersive Cleaning for me. Works like a charm now.

I don't know why there is a debate about Scrap Everything anyway. On PC all you have to do is open the console click on something and type disable. Poof, gone.

I do not know if this breaks precombines, but Scrap Everything does.

Scrap everything will allow the 'disable' to work for more stuff, by breaking the precombines, of course then you can usually scrap them in the normal manner. For instance, the three rubbish piles in the pond at Starlight can not be disabled in this manner, you get a message about non-ref or something, with Scrap Everything I am able to use disable to get rid of them because I seem to recall that they actually didn't highlight in the workshop with SE. Been a while, since I used SE with SS1 some time ago.

Can anyone else confirm this? I fixed the flickering textures issue in Sanctuary by moving IC to the bottom of my LO, but am I going to have as problem later in the game? It's kinda too late at this point as I'd have to restart entirely to get rid of IC or Boston FPS Fix.
