Questions about beds, food, settlers

For example i have 2 settlers - 1 at residential plot and second at agricultural. So it gives 1 bed for sleeping on two guys. Do i need to put a vanilla bed for second settler?

As i understood, agricultural plots provides food only for local settlement and dont share surplus food with other settlements. What about vanilla food? They work fine with SS? Will they satisfy SS settlers needs?

I dont understand how to raise population of settlements. By the old way, building recruitment beacon?

Also, i will be appreciate for some guides how to use this wonderful mod :)

Each settler needs their own residential plot and can work as well. 1 residential and 1 job plot each.
Vanilla food will work fine but SS farms, although their production starts low will eventually produce more than a vanilla farmer.
If you connect your settlements with provisioners they can supply food and water to each other.
Recruitment beacons work fine.
There are alternatives to normal provisioners and recruitment beacons in some of the addon packs that people have made for SS.

Thank you for your response. So provisioners can also supply other settlements with food made by SS farm?
And what about population limit? Os it standart 20?

Yes, they can.
Pop limit is standard but there is an option to turn the maximum off, in which case the limit is as many as your machine can handle.
Mine struggles with more than 30 although I have got to 40 without any problems other than a bit of script lag.

Thank you very much, you helped me a lot :)

The Settlerlimit of 20 is maximum IF you dont have Charisma increasing effects like Mentats or legendary Armor.
Yep, i know that :)

Can u guys remind me addon, which add industrial plot, that calls so many settlers, as much residential plots u have for theme?

for the record, vanilla settler cap is charisma plus 10. Ss has a built in mechanic where it loads settlements to the number of plots and ignores charisma.
