Be sure to update to Workshop Framework 2.0.7 as well!

  • Tons of Side Quest fixes, including Amos's dog whose been patiently waiting for some of you to help.
  • Idle dialogue timeout added for SS2 NPCs to reduce spammy chatting.
  • Huge grammar/spelling fix pass across most content.
  • Several auto-assignment issues have been resolved that could cause settlers to own too many items.
  • And loads more!
Full patch notes available here: https://wiki.simsettlements2.com/en/getting-started/patch-notes

Big thanks to Lively for handling the Grammar/Spelling pass, and Whisper for doing the research necessary to solve some of our auto-assignment bugs!

SS2 Bethesda net version does not work. Download goes to 100 but can't activate the mod due to missing files. I updated workshop first.

I am also experiencing this. At the end of the download, it reaches 100% then says "this operation cannot be completed."

Oh, that was Workshop Framework causing people to be able to work seemingly infinite numbers of vanilla Food items? Great that that's fixed, good work!

Same Here. And sadly it deleted the old version. I tryied 3 times over several hours. Updating the Workshop Framework went without a problem.

Had that on Xbox yesterday with Uituit’s Junk Town update. I had to completely close the game, turn off the Xbox, unplug for a minute, replug, try again and it worked.

Love this mod, the update didn't work for me, I'm on a PC via the mod menu
100% then "operation could not be completed" :sad now it's missing from my library.

On Bethesda.net? Try it anyway, competely close the game, make sure it's not open in the background and reboot your computer and try again.

i have the update but when i go into the game and try and place plots nothing happens, they just don't appear after you press play. You can delete them but no building showing only the plot shadow
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling about 4 times no luck. Everything was working before the update

edit- i fixed this by doing a manual install rather than installing with MOD

@kinggath Hey sorry to bother you but looking at the newspaper (thanks again by the way) I sa that none of the books or old newspaper has prices (all 0 caps). I thought it might just be that someone forgot to put some price on it. I'm not expecting them to be super expensive (the papers maybe a few caps, the books a bit more). It's far from an important thing, I'm aware.

If it's on purpose... I will respect that but would like to point out that those stores are there for that reason (selling books and old newspapers) so it feels somehow wrong that this is where they don't charge me. Just personal feeling. Again, totally respect the decision either way.

Just installed this, and noticed I cannot select interior agriculture plan. Only random is available. Something wrong?

I'm on Xbox, tried to build the magazine industrial and I get a message that there was an problem assigning the plan to the building. Other industrial seem to work fine, newspapers worked right away. But this one keeps giving me this message. Anyone can verify if it's at large or just me?
