Hi dear OQ users.

I've got to launch SS2 3 chapters on the Quest 2 in general. At least I'm on the beggining of the 2nd chapter now.
However...

I don't have HUD (It was expected according the SS2 guides).
I do not have MCM (It was also expected according the forums)
And
I have warning on each load of the save that my Workshop Framework is outdated. Probably it is just because of the "0.95 version solution" and I hope it does not really affect the game.
I have 1.10.138 (1.2.72.01) version on VR which is lower than 1.10.984.0 and 1.10.163.0 which is essential for F4SE (or F4SEVR) and Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch
I cannot use additional content like custom city plans and custom building plans. I just do not see them during the choosing of the available plans. I have the only hope that it was locked because I have not completed the main quest line, but...

So the questions to the OQ VR users are
  • Do you have or had the same issues? (Mainly about the custom plans)
  • If you resolved them could you share the way how?
  • What is the version of game on your VR?
Thank you in advance.

I haven't attempted a full playthrough in VR, but have done a bit of testing with the F4FEVR modlist.

There's a previous thread discussing VR here with some more info: https://simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/how-to-play-sim-settlements-2-in-vr.13597/
(I know the forums don't let you just search "VR" because it's too short.)

The SS2 HUD requires HUDframework, which does not have VR version currently. HUDfr works by injecting custom HUD elements in to the main HUD element on the screen. This main HUD element is missing from, or disabled in, the VR version because it was split up into smaller 3D elements, such as the ammo count next to your gun. From what I've seen of other topics about SS2 on VR, some users just live with it and use whatever other tools are available to work around it, such as the city manager holotape, easy/automated settings, the vitomatic, mayor's gavel etc.

Addon pack (custom plans) compatibilty is going to be a case by case basis. They might be incompatible if they are ESL flagged, using form IDs below 800, or were built for the NG version. You can try checking their Files sections on Nexus for a VR compatible version. I have one for Vault-Tec Tools and Super Structures also has one, but those are the only ones that I'm aware of.
