Old Post Merging Leader Packs.

Sorry, it is really straightforward. First you want to have the Builder's Toolkit on Nexus (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22808). Inside the pdf describing leaders you'll see each major, minor, and penalty with a numeric identifier. Now once you open your patch in FO4Edit you need to find the Leader Card's MISC record.
Once you get to the MISC record you want you need to find the trait(s) that you want to change. You'll find these by finding the propertyName of MajorBenefit, MinBenefit, and/or Penalties. The Type ofeach of these is either Int32 or Array of Int32. You can now replace these numbers with the ones you want with a right-click on the Int32 or Element #x fields and choosing Edit. To add Minor Benefits and Penalties you have to right click to the right of the Array of Int32 field and select Add. Remember to pair up Minor Benefits and Penalties.
Okay so I click to the right of Int32 but I don't get an option to add.

That looks like it adds like a second minor trait or penalties or whatever. How do I add a MajorTrait if there is not one already there?

Try right clicking all over the area near Major Benefits to add one. If you cannot do that then open the patch in CK and open the MISC, find the KGSim script and click properties and fill in the Major Benefit field there.

Yeah there is no major benefits field.

Unfortunately when I try to load CK it crashes.

I'm about to teach jujitsu so I can answer better with a comp in front of me.

A being of many talents. :) No hurry. I won't be doing anything with it until at least Wends.

Okay, so it doesn't look like you can add properties in FO4Edit so here is what I did. I picked a leader's MISC at random that had a Major, Minor, and Penalty. I right clicked on the record and selected Copy as New Record Into... and then selected the very same mod. If you collapse the MISC records and reopen it the new record will appear. Now go through this new record (which is presumably NOT the leader you wanted to edit) and make EVERY one of its fields match that for the Leader you wanted to edit but couldn't add the Major Benefit to. Put in the major benefit you wanted and then delete the OLD leader card you didn't like. Rename the new one to be something useful and then add this new card to the FormList and make sure the OLD one is not still in there. Done.

Finally figured out how to use CK to make changes ... funny thing. I made some changes and went to play and several of leaders as well as the Minutemen added by barracks were naked.

You probably edited something else by accident. Learn how to use FO4Edit to clean your mod of stray edits.

That’s the filter to clean option? I’ll look on line and make sure I’m doing it right.

It looks like the edited leaders (not the ones I edited but all of them in the patch) lost their clothing. In the case of the Minutemen they lost their Militerized Minutemen outfits.

Yelp. No stray edits.

Hmmmmm ... but changes were made that shouldn't have been. I may have to rethink a few things
