Kinggath's upcoming expansion pack

Wow that is a huge file size I guse I am going to have to delete all mods but ss don't use lite want all the bells and whisles. So I will ask is it worth keeping unofficial patch the all dlc one
600MB is 30% of 2GB.

This is a large, but by no means does it mean that you'll have to delete all other mods, especially not The Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch. The patch is only a few MB anyway.

But combined that 600 with the extra from the addons? They are around 100 each on average so there's another 600 or so, and they will need updates so say another 100? That's 1300 or so in SS stuff. That's 65% of the 2Gb limit. Any other heavy mods (I still have snap and build for personal building) take up that little space v quickly

Some of the smaller mods won't really be affected it's just the larger mods that add in new textures and what not.

Yeah I have seen those numbers tossed around, it's just sslite is like 160, so 340-440 for the expansion is a massive increase that's hard for Xbox users unless we uninstall everything else

The 2GB limit in the Xbox One means that we're not able to install all mods that are worth having. Personally, I've pretty much removed almost all purely visual mods to focus on settlements instead. Maybe, for a future playthrough, I'll remove all the settlement mods and instead focus on the visuals. You can have everything, but not all at the same time.

Oh, right. The add-ons. Personally, I've avoided them so far. I guess Bethesda's Creation Club can't come soon enough.

This makes me want to become a pic gamer lol but yeah I have a couple armor mods that I love but I'm looking at getting rid like 5 mods to have room to run this expansion. If it's as good as SS then it will be worth it I think, who knows maybe I'll even get rid of snap and build and move to the less personal building. ( 270mb) just am scared bc Iv read there's a lot of problems when ppl remove it

If the Creation Club works out, then it might significantly alleviate the problem. Content that is part of the Creation Club will, presumably, count as official DLC, and so will not contribute toward your mod total. To the extent that you can replace mods with Creation Club content, and you're willing to pay, you'll be able to free up more space for other mods.

But yeah, it makes me want to join the PC Masterrace as well.

First the reason I asked if the unofficial patch was worth it cause I am wanting to get rid of all the mods that I really dont need. I have about 500mb left I have two mods I really don't want to get rid of one allows me to place tress and hedges which I like to use to decorate my settlements I all ready removed most of my settlement mods

See that is just irritating. They limit us on Xbox just so they can make cash off other modders hard work. I'd pay Kinggath for this but not them. I'll just have to manage

Well, glance over the patch notes for the UF4P. I did, and I decided that it does quite a lot of very good things for just 2.59MB.

The update is about 200mb on xbox the expansion is an additional 300mb. give or take a few mb. Your current Sim Settlements is probably about 150-200mb so your only adding 300mb to your xbox after all is said and done.

UF4P is script changes and retextures. these weigh nothing. 50kb for a script, 25kb for a tiny png image file. Mods contain Nifs (3d models)which are much larger in size)

Wait so we can delete the old SS when we instal V2?

you should remove any mod that you update. version 1 of any mod should be removed if you download version2

I will assume xbox has a shit mod management system. So if you download an update and it doesnt remove the old one, you should remove the old version before you log back in. This can happen on PC to and you're asking for issues if you try loading 2 versions of the same mod.

I dunno about lite but the beta version for the normal sim is:
simsettlements.eps + main/textures archives
expac.esp +mian/textures archive

So it replaces your old SimSettlements.esp and the archives while adding the expac. So assuming it completely replaces your current simsettlements.esp your total file size will only be 300mb larger.

Ok that's really nice to know! Helps me plan for the update!

Ok excuse me if this is naive but.
Can you not use a PC to combine mods and then use THAT on an Xbox? Maybe by combining some they will be a tad smaller?
Just an idea. Have not owned a console since Mario bros on Nintendo lol.
