Help with which Forums to post in

Hi, I've had several questions, but am never sure the appropriate place to post them. Can there be a forum titled "Questions"? It would help solve the problem.

Also, where would be the best place to post mod conflicts? Or things you suspect may not be a bug, but could be? Is there a way to move a post from one forum to another?

Why don't we have a chat?

P.S... if my default is set to receive email notifications, why is it unchecked when I post something? Some times I forget to check it, then I don't get a notification.

That enough questions? :lol

Thank you!!

The email function is erratic. Some can't turn it off. Others can't turn in on.

Why not tag you question question, as you've done, and then post it in General, if it's a SS question, or not-SS if it's not?

The moderators can move posts. But we rarely bother.

Re the chat. I don't know. Maybe because many of us are in different time zones and the staff/supportteam kinda tags each other to take over when we have to leave. Maybe a forum is enough to keep our hands full. :)

Yeah unfortunately we would either need a LOT more moderators or leave the chat unmoderated and....unmoderated chats on the internet very quickly devolve into levels of horror that make 4chan look like a friendly church Sunday school class. Kinggath really doesn't want that kind of atmosphere associated with this community so open chats aren't going to be coming soon, though Kinggath has talked about a public discord in the future (once we have more moderators).

Otherwise Nik's reply was spot on. General questions about Sim Settlements would go in the Sim Settlements>General forum. Non-SS questions would go in the non-SS General forum. If you feel something needs to be moved just use the report feature and request the move. One of the moderating staff can very easily move it. Anytime an item is reported the moderating staff that have permissions to deal with it will see a notification about the report as soon as they login to the site.
