First off let me say I love the idea of this mod, i use to forget the game and just build, now i might actually get out and find my son.

So I've followed Nexus guide to installing this game, the Wiki guide and the YouTube guide and i am having numerous issues.

firstly the stack of sensors, tape etc never appears on the table in that museum of freedom place where you find moma murphy etc.

Secondly if i use the cheat codes to spawn in the items then go into build mode and place them they place, get a settler assigned to them, run power to them and they just sit there with a bit of scaffolding over them. ive slept in game for 5 days and its the same, gone away and ate dinner (IRL), watched a moved and come back to the same scaffolding.

I've tried it with no other mods and my usual sellection of mods with no joy

Please please please can some one give me some help

Nexus has been bad lately. What happens if you do a manual install?
Don't forget to install settlement menu manager too, especially if you are using other decoration mods

tankthing nailed it, you're probably going to have to manually install the mod. The issues you described usually only happen when one of the files is missing which NMM causes quite frequently.

ive judt done the manual install and will take a look in a little while, not sure if it is related but for unknown reasons nexus installed on my C: where as my games are stored on my E:

Nexus tries to do a virtual filesystem thing where it will try to manage the mods' individual files while keeping a safe backup of each somewhere else. It's great, but when something goes wrong you end up with files missing. Hence the manual install.

SMM is a scripted menu system that lets you add and remove those mods that use it without worrying that some other script injector is going to jack up your menus. Usage should be transparent to you except it sticks all the Sim Settlements plots together in their own menu tree instead of putting them in the vanilla location.
I wish somebody would post a converter for SKE, SOE and OCDecorator because those mods definitely could use a better way. I won't even get into how badly Master Plan can break menus.

Also make sure that your nexus installer is pointed towards your current fallout4 directory.

When you install Nexus mod man. make sure to install it in your E drive if that is where your fallout 4 game is installed.

The letter of the drive varies between machines. Like mine is C, in fact its always been C. You also do not need nexus to be installed on the same drive as fallout because you can tell NMM where to scan for your games. My Skyrrim is on an external drive that nexus found without an issue.

Sorry, you are correct about that. As last night as you tell nmm where to install mods you'll be fine. He said his game was on his E drive that's why I said E. Mine is on my D drive your own is on C.

not making any progress sadly, just tried some more stuff with the city panning desk etc and it tells me that i must be in my city limits for this to work, im in sanctuary, just outside my house, im wondering if something else is messed up somewhere and if i can get a settler over to the rocket to try it there. no real biggie if i have to build sanctuary myself, the rest of the places would be nice to use the mod for.

nope just ran to the rocket and its still telling me im not in my city limits

This sounds like a bug one of the Alternate Start mods can cause. Did you happen to use Infinite Answers on that save?
