Researching City upgrade weirdness

Since I went through the trouble of writing down all active ones and you never know which ones effect it all, Ill just list everything. I mainly use bethnet and some mods from nexus. The ones from nexus will have (n) in it.

Just letting you know that the issue still persists. I have no idea what to do anymore. Tried to put IDEK down in load order with other addons but it wont go down.
 
I honestly have no idea what's causing this. I've tested a hundred times since you've posted the original report - as have most of the testing team and we can't replicate this.

It's got to either be mismatched files (ie. your mod manager is mixing up old SS files with new ones) or a mod conflict.

I can only recommend that anyone experience this post their load order and you all continue to compare until you find a common culprit.
 
Just noticing this issue with one of my settlements, Outpost Zimonja to be exact. Wouldn't of thought that a specific settlement is the cause. Posted my load order, screencap from MO2. Hope this helps :)

Had the same rotational weirdness occur after upgrading 3-in-1 to latest version. First occurred at Sanctuary when I fast travelled there (it was still at foundation level and had not upgraded.) Refreshed City (before I saw this thread) and it came good. Since then I have had Abernathy Farm, Hangman's Alley, Ten Pines all have the same issue after city upgrade to level 1 (none of my current playthrough are higher than level 1.)

In Hangman's Alley's case there was no sign of the city planner's desk so I went into build mode and built a new one and refreshed the city. Desk didn't move to where it should go and no sign of the original desk place but it was not really an issue for me.

I'd just assumed it was my setup as I occasionally have the odd CTD (rare but I still save every few minutes out of habit) - pushing the limits on ESP's and have quite a few ESL's in place.
 
Same as enigman. Weird rotation of parts of Sanctuary even with 3in1 3.3.0. after upgrade to stage 2. Stage 1 was fine. But at 2, crooked everything, then appeared blue man group, light bulbs and my game crashed. I'm going to refresh as suggested. But should this be happening on 3.3.0? I guess I'm going to disable couple of things plots load and try it again.

Load order is terrible because I still don't fully understand how to move esps around in that system, but the game runs fine.

Getting this same issue. Started in Greygarden with an oddly rotated ladder before the update. However after it upgraded to Level 2 the city has lost almost all functionality. The ladder is unusable and doing the Local Plot Refresh did not resolve the walls and pathways being off kilter. I had to store and redeploy the City Manager because it was placed at such an odd angle I could not see the monitor when my character sat down.

Same issue occurred in Tenpines Bluff. There the desk is unusable as it's in an increadibly awkward position. It'd be nice to have a refresh built city upgrades rather than have to destroy my settlements to correct the awkwardly placed structures this glitch is giving me.

I had this on my last game (started middle of last month, had to remove a weather mod that killed the graphics) and then got settlement stuff spawning on me on interior loading.

I had assumed it was to do with fast travel using Cheat Terminal (since I was at the time figuring out that weather bug.)

My current load order (which I am, going through now and pulling a few things) is:

I tried destroying existing messed up settlements like Tenpines Bluff and starting from level 0, but the new town structures are generating crooked at random more than they did when I first built them.

Refresh does not seem to do anything but refresh actual plots. The city plan itself for Level 0 does not seem to refresh, or if it does it does not resolve the crooked build. I'm in the process of doing a reinstall of the Three in One pack to see if that helps.

Kinggath can compare it with others and help track this problem down
 
Mod Order and I have a dropbox link to my most recent save if you want that. I presume I could PM it if it's useful for reproduction.

Reinstalling the 3 in 1 mod did not resolve the issue.

On a hunch I went digging and found the Refresh Settlement from the plan menu, this fixes the bad builds. However it does seem the structures still build incorrectly the first time.
 
glad refresh fixed that up for u:)

the weird angles KG is still trying to find the why

My load order uploaded..yes its a crazy amount of mods but all work good so far :D

I have the same issue with Sanctuary at level 1 and refreshing the city does not help.

UPDATE: this seems to happen for every upgraded city - now the Castle is affected as well.
