Bugs that I have encountered during Chapter 3 so far [spoilers]

This thread is simply meant to keep track of various issues that I've encountered. Since my load order is large, I can't provide a save, but it should help if other similar bug reports emerge.

Version 3.0.4alpha

Flickerin' Lights:
-
The initial radio dialogue with Neil can restart after a while if you don't progress.

Resurgence:
  • Right before building the first outpost, the player can get stuck in the air, unable to move, but able to do various actions. This was only solved with a reload. I suspect it is due to an interaction with the Workshop bench right after the dialogue with Lupe, which delayed the transition to the city plan tour.
  • On my first run with the Vertibird, the objective did not update after taking down the vertibird and I could not progress from there.
  • Sometimes the trajectory is changed in a way that makes it impossible to damage the enemy vertibird with the minigun because the distance is too great. Eventually the trajectories are fixed.
A Faction is Born
  • [Suggestion] Since the player's armor is placed inside a trunk container at the foot of the bed, it could help to have an optional objective to loot back your gear.
  • Once the meeting ended, everyone remained on their chair and Theresa did not follow me, which prevented progress during Me and This Army. Teleporting Theresa to me in The Ron's location allowed the proper dialogue to play.
Me and This Army
  • The dialogue scene with Salvador can suffer from pathing issues because of the layout. Suggestion to teleport Theresa next to Salvador once dialogue starts.
  • [Incompatibility] The following mod interferes with the Flare Gun's functionality and thus prevents progression when Salvador asks the player to fire a flare towards the sky: Legendary Flare Gun
  • During the fight to claim the area, I was forced to exit VATS right as I was about to shoot the last enemy and could not move. Once that enemy was killed, I was still unable to move or open the pipboy after the victory screen. Solved with a reload.

Art of War
  • Salvador repeats the following line once you talk to him at the potential outpost: - Are you sure this is the place you want to do this?
  • Once again I got stuck at a victory screen, unable to move while standing in the air. I had my pipboy opened in Egret Tours Marina when the transition happened. It should be noted that I am using Fallsouls, which allows me to unpause the pipboy menu and other menus. It could be a conflict.

Corporate Espionage
  • After choosing to let Allison handle the distraction, I sneaked into the office and grabbed the notes, which updated the objective to "Meet Allison". Doing so results in the following dialogue line: You managed to snag it? What did you ask nicely? Eh, whatever. I get paid either way. Best show that to Lydia, I guess. While she does mention Lydia, the objective does not get updated. Speaking to Lydia does allow the player to move forward.
  • [Mod Conflict] MsRae Shops adds a door to the same building that Lydia sends you to. Disabling the door to Old Bait Shop from MsRae Shops gives you access to the Residence door.

The issue with the objective not updating for Corporate Espionage was logged last month during testing.
I've made notes regarding the other ones you've listed, as I'm on a new play through with Release 3.1.0 - will see if I can replicate.

Re: MsRae's Commonwealth Interiors - the original mod is no longer avaiable on Nexus, just the translation mod, and the original mod author has not been active since 2021.

Indeed, the mod author vanished during the Nexodus. This means that very few players should be playing with that mod, unless the mod can be found elsewhere (there seems to be a working link in a Fallout 4 STEP guide).

Leverage​

  • I was stuck at the "Lift the security lockdown" objective, not able to go through the vent as the prompt would be unresponsive. I had to load an earlier save and go through the same steps, which let me go through the vents for some reasons. To my knowledge I was following the step indicated on the wiki both times. Maybe I opened the hatch too soon the first time? Not sure.
  • In the space where you have to clear the ferals, there is a noticeable gap in the environment next to the narrow tunnel. Picture attached. A ghoul can get stuck right right besides that gap, behind an elevator door.
