Greetings

I have been trying to find the culprit for the problem for a few weeks now. Beds are not auto assigning at all. I had turned off shelter mechanic. I am finding work is assigning properly. Here is my load order. Maybe something is in conflict.

Note: I had added snap beds author's shelter bed fix to see if it solved my problem to nada. And yes, as you can see, I am a man of culture. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Beds are not auto assigning at all.
First, the shelter mechanic has nothing to do with assignments. Its a buggy vanilla system that is supposed to give a happiness penalty if an assigned bed does not have a "roof." You do not need another mod. The WSFW setting is all you need.

Second, in the WSFW settings, do you have Auto Assignment - Beds turned on?

Third, does this happen for all beds or just mod added ones. The mod author may have forgot to attach an AV, keyword or script to the added bed. If there is stuff missing, the game won't know its actually a workshop object.

I do have auto assignment turned on. I tried all the beds, even the dirty ground mattress and sleeping bag to no avail.

Edit: I just discovered that all the beds object ID's end in [PP]. Is this normal?

If the ref ID starts with FF it means the object was spawned in game and not pre-placed. If it starts with 00 its a pre-placed base game object. (the first 2 digits will be the load order ID of the mod that placed it) I'm not sure what the [PP] means. I wouldn't worry about it.

All beds, including base game objects... :scratchhead The only other thing I can think of is mod conflict.
Look in ./steam/steamapps/common/fallout4/data/scripts/ for:
WorkshopObjectScript
WorkshopScript
WorkshopNPCScript
WorkshopParentScript
Loose files will override WSFW's ba2 archive.
You may also want to see if any of the mentioned scripts are packed in any of your installed mod's {modname} - main.ba2 file. You can browse the archive contents with this mod:
I would suspect its a mod from "that other site" as a work around for some of the crazy stuff they pull off. Although, there are some pretty savvy people there too.

Something very odd happened. I extracted the .BSA of Workshop Framework like you said

Something very odd happened. One or the other could have been the solution. One, loose files. I found the Renovated furniture mod I was using was installed loose not archived. Two, Vortex did not install a chunk of the settlement scripts into my scripts folder. I extracted the Workshop Framework .BSA with the browser you had provided and copy and pasted them into my installation /data directory scripts folder. Vola, it worked.

Thank you sir. You solved my problem. I hope this thread is useful to others who are having the same issue.

All WSFW scripts are in the ba2 file. No loose scripts are installed. Most likely what is happening is a mod also has workshop scripts in the ba2 file. As is loads later, WSFW is being overridden. This is why extracting the scripts worked. Just remember that you will need to extract the scripts every time you upgrade WSFW or you will have issues.

The more proper solution would be to inspect the ba2 files for all your installed mods for workshop scripts. If you find any, ask the mod author why they are there and if they are required. (the CK likes to include unneeded files when creating a ba2 archive) You might end up having to remove that mod and start a new game to fix it properly.

How did you pick your load order? It seems that order could be improved. Some of those mods should not be where they are. One example is with snap beds and the shelter mod that goes with it. The MA says the shelter mechanic goes above the bed mod, at least in the BethNet description. There appear to be many others that could have some adjustments made to resolve possible conflicts.

I auto sort the plugins with LOOT.
