Any peaceful way to get robots out of villages?

I would like to have a "robotfree" village. Is there any other way then to destroy them all (and no, I don't wanna have them in an other settlement)?
You could send them all to a settlement that your not gonna build in like the mechanist's lair, then use that as a hub and then asign them to all your other settlements as supply routes.

Thx for the idea, but as I wrote, I don't wanna have them in ANY settlement. And I don't need supply routes :)

Those I can not hack I just shoot and loot as they bring down happiness in settlements.
Oxhorn's solution is to send them all to the machinists lair and then attach them to the other settlements through the supply line to make them useful and yet with the machinist lair being their home base they do not affect the other settlements. Cool eh? :)

Hope this helps :)

also: you didn't say if it was my plots fault that you have a bunch of unwanted robots, but if you have robots you didn't mean to get it's likely from me, so:

just in case my plot is the problem, you can turn off the robot creation in the holotape if you don't want to keep spawning automatrons. Won't help with existing robots, but will stop you from getting more.

The only way to get rid of them without killing them is to use the console (disable, then markfordelete)

Is your mod which added the rococo holotape that said it ships robots to one of two places. If so do you have a description of how that works somewhere? I was very confused

Are you talking about this:

Hello again loyal RobCo Customer!

Here you can help fine tune your product packaging and storage needs for your Automated Factory Management Suite facilities!

You can choose to maintain local factory storage or have our specialized RobCo Delivery Robots package and move your production output to a RobCo Certified Community Storage Facility!

That's just flavor text. and the response text got copy/pasted from my other factory (it's fixed in the upcoming update). What this option does is make factories that produce a collectible output (just the Ammunation Plant currently) either put items in the workbench once a day or leave them in the factory storage container for you to pick up manually.

Yes. I thought that might be where the unwanted robots where coming from. What spawns automatrons?

The Robotics Workshop, but the other option in the holotape can be used to turn them off.

If you open my holotape (AFMS 2.4, found in the robotics workshop level 1 or 2 currently, or crafted at the Chemistry Station)

then select Authorized RobCo Maintenance And Repair Specialists

Then you can enable or disable robot building from that menu.

And this makes randomized robots for free?

no, it stops them from being made at all.

If it's enabled it makes them, but they still cost materials (you can go to my detailed building information disucssion on my subforum for details on that)
