I started a new playthru and just now starting to expand Starlight Drive-in. Had a line of 5 foundations, all with residential plots, Tried to add another row but the foundations seem to not snap together consistently, I can't make another row of 5. instead one or two will snap to the row of 5...

Wondering if I'm missing something thing. Finding it hard to place the clay foundation. In most settlements its limited. It refuses to place. I switch to wood or cement foundations and they place where I was trying for clay. Is there a limitation I need to know?

Sanctuary and Red Rocket both have a full set of Crafting benches when you get to them. I find it strange that the lvl0 (foundation level) scraps them. Is it possible to leave these be, or maybe move them and incorporate them into the city design at all levels??
