Lol, I have enough bricks before this thread (and mod) started to rebuild my house. At least this brick will be decorative for a change.Just let him brick his save , he will learn the hard way
i was playing this game on a 6 year old laptop up until about 8 months ago. it had two nvidia 770 gpu's. they are ancient.
but i got it to work. i had to realise some very severe limitations. i never got above 30 fps anywhere - but it was playable - just about.
because of the limitations of the hardware, i learned very quickly what i could and could not do.
i remember playing with wotc - i got that to work - somehow - it doesn't work any more as the game changed so much which broke it - but i had that working. i had npc's travel, i had skk50's mods and a few others.
it ran like a dog with three legs, but it ran.
what you need, more than anything else - is stability. conqueror and fully formed level 3 cities would be lovely, but its unrealistic. not only on your system, but on many more powerful ones as well. the game engine is a delightful, unstable, buggy, crash-prone mess at the best of times. unstable mods just accelerate that.
i posted elsewhere, learn the limitations of your system. understand what breaks it.
consider this comparison - you want to enter the indy 500, in your family saloon. yes you can drive it around, yes, it will do laps of the track, but if you try and compete with a suped up, over-engineered machine designed to win indy500, you aren't going to come off too well, and you'll probably crash out very early on.
that - from my admittedly narrow vantage point is your issue. you want all the bells and whistles and go faster stripes, but your machine, in tandem with the game engine is blowing you up before the first lap is done.
can you post your mod list, so we can see what you have running, and post up your system specs, so that you can get a more educated analysis of what you can, and cannot do?
btw - i've seen people post up the most ludicrous pc specs and they still cannot play fo4 - it really is a game that cares nothing for high performance specifications, if it wants to ctd on you, it will ctd on you. it's consistent. i'll give it that much.
Oddly, I had an i5 also - it fried recently. I have an AMD Ryzen now and used to get better framerate than I do at present. <_< Perhaps I need to try to re-optimize the game once more.
Since you weren't using a scrapping/cleaning mod prior - I have no idea what's up with your games. As you say, it must be just that your PC can't handle all the stuff that SimS/Conc is attempting.

I'm the author of Raze My Settlement. Basically it gathers resources and scraps the vanilla items only, saving players a bunch of time and effort with initially scrapping a settlement. There's other functionality too - adding resources to the workbench for builders + a mechanism for raising the build-limit - the main focus is on scrapping the junk and saving players time and hassle of doing the same settlement over and over and over.
So long as you have a decent PC you can take a settlement down to the bare bones (vanilla scrapping only) within 1-2 minutes. Better rigs are faster, of course.
No, i pulled it all out of the workshop inventory after it said it was done. The gathering worked fine when i did it by itself. But the razing portion razed nothing.@Texas that’s you on nexus? Right, to answer here too...
You say it added to your inventory? Not the inventory of Sanctuary?
