all the lightning bolts are red on everything but they are all wired and all the street lights are on, all the lights are on, the recruitment beacon is on, when i connect my own source of power to said devices they read they get power, at the top of the screen it says 500 power but not everything is reading they are recieving the power even though they are all wired to the same grid.

I have the same Problem. Everything is connected by wires, but the power is not being transmitted anymore. It happens after leaving the settlement and returning (in my case: Sancturary). The only way I have found to fix this, is to replace every single wire. Unfortunatly, that takes a lot of time.

Got the same problem with Sanctuary and in my last playthrough with Starlight. No city plan used, everything done by hand, everything connected to power sources. Overall power is at 500 and still, most of the plots show up as not receiving power.

I spent more than half a real hour, resetting power at Sanctuary. Everything worked, I left the settlement and upon my return, the plots were powerless again.

I really don't understand what's happening.

Omg are you serious...its weird how no devs have chimed in on this issue even if they dont know atleast say so.

On top of that NONE of the Settler/NPCs will work on ANYTHING because nothing its reading that its getting power. so they are all in just one giant group in the back of my house. Im thinking about just ditching Sanctuary all together its been nothing but a headache and problem ever since I started playing SS2

That's sadly a vanilla issue. Once you reach a certain number of actors, settlers, visitors, even turrets, if I remember correctly, zombiefication happens, as I like to call it. They all gather behind the house with the workshop at Sanctuary and stand around like the living dead.

There's nothing you can do about it. But it doesn't mean, your plots aren't served. Only when they show a red person icon, they've left their jobs.

ive never had this happen since i installed SS2, but of course its not the mod why would it! lol im just playing...

A lot of what you are describing sounds like script lag. That is what causes zombification as there is no remaining script resources for the game to direct settler AI, so they just stand around. It would also explain why your plots have lights and so forth but still showing the red power icon - it is likely just that the scripts have not caught up yet with sanctuary.

Let me ask this - have you built up red rocket and abernathy as well, or just sanctuary? If you have, it would cause problems with sanctuary. You may want to read this - https://www.simsettlements.com/site...sanctuary-abernathy-farm-and-red-rocket.6964/

Have you installed buffout 4? Here's a guide for how to do that - https://wiki.simsettlements2.com/en/customization/suggested-mods/buffout4-install-guide

Also, and I have said this in previous responses to some of your other posts, knowing your load order would be helpful if you could post that. If you have a lot of other script-heavy mods you are running in addition to SS2, that can be a problem because they are all fighting over a tiny pool of resources the game allocates to scripts (especially if you don't have Buffout 4 installed). You can find your load order by navigating to this file path - %LOCALAPPDATA%\<game>\plugins. txt - Here is some more information on that as well - https://loot.github.io/docs/help/In...n Fallout 4, the load, back up your load order.

I leave Red Rocket out, since with the additional strain or a repopulated Concord, it really turns into the triangle of death. I only build a few beds there, some water and a recruitment beacon for sending arriving settlers elsewhere. I also have a robot workbench there, in order to make it my primary vanilla supply line hub, using robots.

As for power losing out, at least in my case, the lights are entirely out or dimmed in a quite obvious manner. Once reconnected, the lights gain in volume.

As for the zombiefication, that may also be the problem with my theatre. The actors just standing on stage without performing. Sometimes they do, though, probably their script has been loaded earlier at that occasion.

There's also some bugs with the city plans in ROTC where the auto wiring and auto power doesn't work on certain levels. You have to do all the power and wiring yourself. Supposedly ROTC will be patched up in the future to accomdate for all the changes in SS2 and Ch 2 from the past year since it has been neglected for awhile but there is no timeframe on when this will happen.

Yeah now that you mention that there is nothing that could power it shows that everything is getting power but it's not everything on my I redid the camp one red rocket gas station and everything was wired I even did all the wire and the reset wiring and redoing it all and still didn't get power to one you have to manually delete all the wires and rewire everything yourself I apologize for the poor grammar and spelling I'm using talk to text on my cell phone
