“A drive in is a place where people would gather in their cars and watch a ‘moovy’ on a HUGE screen.”
“How did that work Lenny? All the cars I know of are just piles of scrap.”
“Well you see Jo, before the bombs, when all the cars worked they were like power armor for multiple people. Once enough cars gathered they would do the drive in. Cars would be rushing all over the place! They would drive into anything in their way! Be it other cars or people or anything, they didn’t care! The more stuff they drived into the better the moovy would be! After the Pro-jec-tor, they are the person in charge of the drive in you see, decided there had been enough in driving they would give the order and everybody would point their car lights at the big screen. All the blood and stuff on the front of the cars would make the moovy. The Pro-jec-tor gave cars orders over those speaker things onto when to turn on their lights. This would make the moovy change on the screen Jo! Can you believe it? And after the moovy was over the people would go to the consusyum stand and buy tons of Dandy Boys and Fancy Lads and Crisps and whatever else! Can you imagine how amazing that must have been Jo?”
“Yeah Lenny that sounds awesome and all but why are be building the stage here? It doesn’t make any sense.”
“This was a place of entertainment! All the way down to its bones! There has to be some of that energy left over from before we can use. Between that and this holotape message I found there that said ‘If you build it they will come’ this is the perfect place to set up shop!”
“Oh not that energy stuff again Lenny. You remember all that trouble you caused due to the ‘energy’ back at the stage at the Combat Zone? Or the fight you picked with Magnolia? We will be lucky if they Ever let us back into Goodneighbor again.”
