Ways to get rid of scrap in storage

Either I'm blind, or unless you use it for something, there is no way to clear space in storage. You can buy priority shipments, but not sell them. Unless you have +100 s/d, you can't even stop from gaining more. So you have like +78 leather/day with a metric ton in storage and it just keeps eating up available space as a cancer. If not priority shipment, at least let me dump it into the Atlantic Ocean. It's right there!

Personally, I have given up on trying to use component complexity. Your micromanagement time will be greatly reduced by changing to the categories complexity.
Thank you!
Yeah I completed SS2 on categories already but wanted more of a challenge. I actually enjoy having to juggle specific components (it kinda forced me to use trade agreements, which is cool), but this rather unintuitive issue of having too much stuff and not being able to do anything about it (yes I can build more storage but that would require more defense and there's a theoretical limit to how much defense I can have) has been kind of annoying.

This mod is really nice cause it adds a feature to create a "Caravan Creation Kit" which is an inventory item that can be put into the virtual storage of new settlements. That way you don't have to run around looking for Asbestos and stuff. It's worth it just for that feature imo.

Otherwise I really don't understand how anyone could play SS2 and complex resources without that mod. I throw away wood constantly. I wouldn't know how to get rid of it without the mod.

The only other option I know of are long console commands that could easily be entered wrong and break something in the virtual resource system. :explode:
