Though I'd try a underground Sim Settlement, no easy task but it seems to work. If I can just get the NPC's to stop standing around in the main atrium.....

Looks good, i like the mix of caves and walls.
On your pic 5221 i had to look twice i thought your shop was called the 'Bum hole' lol :)

About the standing around i'm sure i heard that the game see's all the parts as seperate cells ie: north /east etc , i dont know if there is away around that or if there is a mod to help.

A bit late to the party but this is a known issue.

My previous playthrough I really went to town building and decorating the entire vault only to find out that settlers will not leave the main cave.

Their sandbox boundary is the original boundary before you activate the additional workbenches.

They will also clump together at the bottom of the stairs in the atrium (if you choose to build it) because they cannot pass each other on the stairs.

Moreover under no circumstances they will climb more than two floors.

The only solution is using something like this:

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20442/?

Using that you can assign settlers all the way to the pharmacy exit and they will dutifully comply.

I cannot use that mod in this playthrough because I am using:

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25316/?

The author has made his own edits to the sandbox to match the extended settlement boundaries and it would likely conflict with the other mod. Said that he is considering making one for Vault 88.

Personally I don't really have the skill to do it myself (either alter Settler Sandbox Expansion so it only applies to Vault 88 which is currently unedited by All Settlements Extended or editing All Settlements Extended to add Vault 88.)

Thanks for the heads up on the Mods, another Mod author put me one to the top mod as well, just finished downloading it fingers crossed :)
