Nexus has a floating button that always appears near the lower left quarter of the screen which allows an automatic, fast scroll to the top of the page. Such a button would be a convenience in some sections of this website, including long threads.

I do understand what you mean, however we are limited to Xenforo templates and as i have tried some things in the past, they haven't played nice.
