Hi All,
Is there a straightforward way to remove all the plants in the garden in one shot?
I'm not able to delete these. When there are just a few I grab them one at a time and carry them far out of bounds. But there are too many here to do that unless I must.

EDIT Changed the question below: Is there a way to remove things that I'm unable to select and delete?
EDIT: I pulled them one by one. BUT if anyone has an answer, please post it for future reference.

I've noticed that there are quite a few animation markers baked into that garden area at The Slog that you can't alter - even if you remove the plants, settlers will still be tilling the ground there. Personally, I've just accepted that that area will have to remain agricultural, no matter what I would otherwise prefer to do with the space.

Additionally, the animations for "searching" that the farmers in the pool use to harvest Tarberries are unalterable as far as I can tell - moving the tarberry plants does not change the settler behaviour there.

Things like the animation markers would take an external mod to remove. So you can note down that to remove the animation markers you will need a mod to do so or in corp them into the build.

One of the settlements had a half-buried couch right in the middle of the settlement.
I couldn't select and delete it. Is there a way to get rid of the couch?

EDIT my original thinking was. Couch, corn what's the difference. I was wrong.

My understanding is that if you can’t select it in workshop or console mode, it is likely bound up in a precombine and you would have to use a contest-illegal mod to break the precombine and access it.

I'm not talking about unseen items.

If you look at my Coastal Cottage entry for July, you'll see the lengths I went to with terraformer blocks, mostly motivated by all the unremovable crap embedded in the ground at that site. There have been rants....
