Interesting tidbit. After scrubbing my computer within an inch of its life I reinstalled Steam/Fallout/ and MO2 but MO2 kept remembering things fromthe contest and normal builds it shouldnt know anything about. I managed to find the files in c/users/<Yournamehere> I didnt write the exact location down (Sorry) I was more focused on trying to fix this.
So I found this mangled file with its weird entires, delet it, and now everything seems fine. But this is Fallout so who knows.

So what your seeing there is the difference between a Global setup of MO2 vs a Portable (or local) setup. The global setup stores thing in the AppData folders, the Portable is self contained. If, when you are starting MO2, you get a screen that asks you which type of install you want, I usually use Portable. That way each install is stand alone. If you choose global the upside is that you can manage Skyrim and Fallout 4 from the same install. However I find that with the way I mod those games a Portable setup helps me keep things simpler.

I do not remember if the WJ setup will ask you that question or not. If it does, my best suggestion is to use a Portable setup. There are included mods for the SS2CPCHelper that are costume versions that are different from what is on Nexus. That is by design. If the Helper is setup to run as a Global, it may interfere with that.

I'll try to keep that in mind. My choice is simple - I have a small (SSD) C drive so I choose whatever option lets me not put things on that drive
Im hoping to buy some enclosures and transfer the HD from my old computer t them. If so I can finally access a lot of my old files

Usually the best solution in that case is to use a Portable installation.
