SS2 barebone for PC?

I've loved SimSettlements for years already.

I have to say that the new size have me struggling, and curious if a barebone version (like Xbox) will be available for PC?

It has been said a "mechanics only" version MIGHT be done once the story and all mechanics are implemented after chapter 3, but I wouldnt hold my breath.

Guess Im better off with original SS with RotC.

I mean, I get it, maintaining the code of this mod is enough of a nightmare as it is, let alone trying to juggle two distinct versions of it simultaneously while so much is still in flux. But yeah, I would love a no-story version too.

The story is great and all, but I think it should be an AddOn and optional. Main mod and cps apart from the story. IMO.

Not a fan of the competitions either to be fair. Lot of not great stuff, overbuilt to stand out, and it's become a nightmare to find good cp to use.
