I have learned how to make solar panels. I made one to see how it looked and today when I returned to the settlement, at night, I see that it looks like a light bulb, but it also seems to consume half of my PC's resources.

I have moved it, I have erased it, but the light is still there. I have deleted it and rebuilt settlement data, nothing. My PC looks like a locomotive.

Any ideas?

I have been able to click on lights or shadows like that using the mouse wheel and get lucky and get the correct console ID then "disable" it with the console.
  • to do this - mods like better console and highlight console reference can help as you are trying to target something that is essentially transparent.
Other items plot-related that have glitched will often go away on there own when the cell resets.

Then the fallback to any glitch that annoys me is to roll back my save.

Thanks, I was able to fix it.

Investigating I found the secondary function of these panels. I would have preferred to find out for myself. A solar panel that works like a mirror? At night? I enjoy every minute of this mod, but the author is not an engineer haha.

I could not disable it with the console, it has disappeared half a settlement and nothing.
Cell reset not work, I have waited 10 days at Home Plate.

This really works Reset Cell I hope this doesn't cause me another problem.

I have spoken too fast.

The panel that I had erased, the light is there again.
Every time I move a panel, it creates a new light.
