Fixed "Skip Quest" feature not working

I started up a new game, built the beacon, talked to jake to get the quest, then spawned in the holotape and tried to skip the first couple of quests, but I never get the popup after clicking the skip ahead option.
 
I've noticed the same. The pipboy didn't 'freeze' on me as KingGath showed in the release trailer. I've waited about 30 real world minutes after selecting an option to skip the quest line. No change.

I thought it might be because I'm playing survival with the console disabled. So I loaded an earlier save before I selected the skip ahead. Unlocked the console, and tried again. Same results... No freezing pipboy, exited out of the pipboy completely, no popup message. I again waited another 20-30 real world minutes. No change.

Have you updated both SS2 and Workshop Framework? Also I have noticed the Unofficial Patch has an update out as well. Might be a good time to look for updates to all your mods like I did today. Found quite a few.

Yeah, we are looking at this right now. Something might be missing from the BA2..

You pointed us right to the issue so we could confirm.
