Sanctuary Crash to desktop

Hello, upon approaching my level 3 sanctuary my game has started to instantly crash to desktop with no explanation what so ever. I’m finding this especially frustrating as it contains the most developed industrial plots on the map since my old game was eviserated. Unfortunately I can not give you a game file at this time as my Ethernet has also killed itself.

Unfortunately this is a common issue at the moment, many users are reporting crashes using the Sanctuary city plan, specially at level 3. Kinggath and team released a new version for Sim Settlements this saturday wich has the new Optimized city plans, you can try switching to the optimized version to see if stop the crashes (if you don't mind to start the city plan from 0 again).
FAQ for the new patch: https://www.simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/faq-optimized-city-plans.6749/

You will also have to do a remote destruction of Sanctuary. Holotape option under Tools I think.
If you can't get close enough for the holotape to detect Sanctuary you use the console command
cqf kgsim_cpmanager ForceClearSettlement 250fe

from a safe distance... like Home plate. ;)

Ah right, that's quite fustrating as it's the only place to reach level 3 industry. Is there a way of speeding up other industrial advanced industrial plots as I've been waiting a month now to start the quests and my patience is running quite thin.

UPDATE: I've cleared both settlements though fast traveling still results in a scrapcrash.

I've cleared the settlements but I'm left with a completely unworkable settlement which all the NPC's have disappeared from the game and unremovable buildings dot the buildzone.

Now that you can enter the settlement, use the Town Gavel to clean up with. That "usually" does the trick.

UPDATE: I reverted to a previous save and managed to access the town via disabling animation markers, however my game now crashes within 4 minutes of loading a save.
