Remote management quest bug

I'm currently on the quest "remote management" at the section "Sit in Lounge chair". When I speak to Jake he says "It's alright! Go sit down!", when I do sit in the lounge chair he continues to type at the Comm Hub. leaving me sitting in the memory lounger unable to do anything. I'm also on the upgrade the antenna part of "commonwealth rising" maybe those two conflict at these stages. I don't have enough power to upgrade the antenna, which I feel may stop Jake from typing at the comm hub, is there a console command to increase the power section so I can test this? Or should I try something else?

Okay building the antenna does the trick in fixing that. Got down into the memory lounger and it took me to the map where you select a settlement marker. However, it only gives me the option to change locations (nuka-world, far harbor, commonwealth). The settlement markers are not on the map. Does anyone have any guidance on this?

Lupe and Jake are pack in the Comms room, urging me to sit in the chair -- but the memory lounger isn't there! Any idea why?

Just a question to those that don't have the Memory Lounger in GNN. When you talked to Jake when he called you on HQ Radio, did you get stuck in the HQ Radio screen?
If that scene didn't complete correctly, the Memory Lounger doesn't get transported correctly to GNN.

I definitely didn't get stuck on the radio screen, but I'm also not sure that Jake actually called. I spent a lot of time at the HQ while Lupe was bringing the lounger back. Will calling Jake on the radio be a potential fix?

No harm in trying that. Quests have stages that must be completed in order to progress.
Suggest also fast travelling out of GNN before you try calling him as well.

I tried this and went to another settlement before calling Jake on the HQ Radio. He gave the spiel about Logistics getting the Memory Lounger back to HQ and I should come to see what they have planned. I acknowledged Jake and said I'll be there soon. After exiting the HQ Radio my character was stuck. Couldn't move or bring up the PipBoy again.

Same here

Ya... There are fixes coming for HQ Radio in the next release, hopefully that will fix Remote Management for you folks :)

Sounds great! This didn't work for me either and I also got stuck. I was able to use the console to teleport myself to Preston to get unstuck, but the game crashed anyway lol. No big deal, looking forward to the new release!

Is there a way around it?
Some people have had success with console "setstage" commands. SInce i don't know where you are and what stages are complete for you, I won't make any recommendations.
If you are going to attempt that, the quest guide Remote Management lists the quest id and quest stages at the bottom of the page.
Make a save before using console commands if you are going to try forcing your way through it.
Sometimes they don't work, and then your quest will be broken. Most people get stuck because Stage 70 doesn't get marked off correctly when the HQ Radio conversation with Jake gets interrupted.

Otherwise, Remote Management is a Side Quest - and not required to finish Chapter 2. It can be done any time.
If you have a save before starting the quest, or at the beginning of the quest, return to that save and carry on with other things. The new release should be out end of this week.

Just had the issue come up for me, Lupe and Jake looking at an empty space, went through dialouge, and set the stage for the quest to 110, went through white transition, did the prompts by Quest Jake, and after looking at PipBoy, another loading, and finishing dialouge the chair pops in at the end.

That is my issue at the moment.
I have completed the recording to Jakes daughter and now Jake urges me to sit in the lounger. I get beemed in and and walk to the map and it says for me to press any settlements, but i dont see any markers and Jake just keeps telling me to press those markers...
Only thing i can do is change maps to the three different maps, but no markers.

If i try and skip this quest, Jake and Lupe is there and just tells me to sit in the lounger, no other followup quests happens.
I tried to skip quests at the desk to push it forward, to aiden radiong me, but its just Lupe and Jake there, telling me to sit in the lounger while the opthers walk away, refusing to speak to me.

The settlement markers, is that some bug, or is just me? Is it something with my HUD?
Cause suddenly i dont see any plot-info either, nor any settlement info bars.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but im lost and really want to continue the story! ^^

The markers for Settlements on are the left wall of the virtual map. When you click on a Settlement, what usually happens is you hear a noise as the each plot marker appears on the right wall. They usually appear one at a time. I've just played through this quest on 3.2.0 and it worked for me.

HUDFramework doesn't always play nice with other HUD mods. It also doesn't work if you turn crosshairs off.

Not sure what im suppose to see, but it feels like its empty and not showing.
Posting 2 screenies after eachother and Jake just sometimes tells me to press a settlement...
I have stood in here for 14 hours and nothing happens.
I need to reload to get out.

My mods, i dont think any have other HUDs, but im useless when it comes to that. Not sure.
Ill post it just to show what mods i use.

Not sure if anything in your load order could be causing this. Scrap everything will massively hit your performance, the Hi-Res Textures DLC will do the same (so it's universally hated), and Unlimited Settlement Budget shouldn't be necessary since you can use Workshop Framework to basically make your budget as big as you want, but don't think there's anything HUD related. I think SS2 has a holotape to enable/disable HUD elements that you get really early or can craft at the desk.
