I'm having a problem where my recruits aren't helping attack settlements during a raid. They just kind of run around following me while I get my ass shot off and offer no assistance. Anyone else come across this problem?
Edit: Perhaps I should be more specific, I wrote my original post when I was very tired and ready for bed.
I'm playing Conquerors vanilla without any faction pack.
So, I have a couple outposts and vassals set up in the area near Sanctuary, I'm currently trying to assault Taffiginton Boathouse for the first time to make it an outpost. I can set the raid up from the war table, it gives me the "Assault X" quest, my troops show up there. But when the fighting starts (whether I start it or one of the occupying gunners does) My troops do nothing but run around after me, not attacking the enemies. This is the first time I've had this problem and I've done 3 other assaults prior.

Now all of a sudden today the recruits are helping me attack. I didn't change a thing other than restarting the game since yesterday. I feel like an idiot now. I will update this post if I run in to the issue again.
