I got this idea from my initial inspiration for the February City Plan Contest, and my subsequent disappointment on finding that the creatures spawned by the spawners in the City Builder's Toolkit won't defend themselves if attacked. If possible, I'd love to see spawners that create creatures that are friendly to the settlers and player and hostile to raiders, super mutants, and the like.
 
Some add-on pack authors already made creature-based martial plots. CaptainLaserBeams Jumppads, Altairp's Animal Farm, Ultuit's Junk Town, etc.

That's a good point, and would theoretically let me proceed with either my first idea or something similar to it. My thought was that adding them to the toolkit/base mod would make them available even without specific add-ons, and for now I'll check out the ones you've listed.
