Power problem

My municipal power plot is not giving any power. (Yes I'm using the municipal power grid pylon) its not giving any power at all. And while I'm here, is there any fix to shops yet ?

Not sure what you mean fix for shops. Mine work great. Well great depending on who's running them.
They dont have any inventory, I looked into the settings for them and it said they get it from the industrial plots, but their inventories never updated, they just stayed as a few rounds of whatever gun type they were using and a little food. Even after days of in game time it stayed none updated

Does your settler have the necessary Intelligence to work the plot? Skilled for advanced Lv 5, gifted for high tech Lv 8, savant for ????

On that note then I've never had this issue. All my shops have plenty of inventory if I can get certain unique npcs to have the shop dialogs. I get them working a shop but can't shop from them.

I've not had the issue, but I have seen posts from others that have. I'm not 100% sure if there is a fix / workaround in place for this. @yaugieLC seems to be consistently plagued with this, if I recall their postings correctly.

So try a different plot. Destroy that one and build a new one. See what happens then. Do you have the municipal power Pylon/or switch attached to it? You need one of those too but not both.

As said I've already tried that, I said I tried one then both. And even the switch by itself. I've tried scrapping and building a new one, ice tried storing and all that, tried refreshing, nothing happens

So up top in workshop mode your power is 0? If you mouse over the power pylon does it have a number or 0?

Have you added vanilla power items to see if power goes to the grid? Is the city wired? At the desk is an option to wire city have you tried this?

Ok, just so I understand...

1. You've put the municipal power plot down, and it's finished building?
2. You've built the Power Pylon OR the Switch? (NOT both a switch and pylon at the same time in the same settlement)
3. You've scrapped the Pylon/Switch AND the Municipal Plot
4. You've rebuilt the municipal power plot and a Switch OR Pylon (NOT both a switch and pylon at the same time in the same settlement)

You've done all these steps and power is still not registering from the municipal plot?

Yes, multiple timea

Thats what I'm thinking, it only started happening after I downloaded one of the addon packs, but once again it only happens in Sanctuary, everywhere else I get power from it
I have been having issues with some add on plots defaulting back to stock plots after the updates. Or trying to at least. Mai ly the expanding bathroom keeps trying to become a wasteland gym.
