Then take your time and learn to appreciate the variety of characters, the quality of the writing and voices and the insane amount of custom lines. Even the characters with « only one task » are more fleshed out than a vanilla settler…To be honest many are very forgettable? as they just require you to do one task and might never need to see them again
I only remember ones I first met and the ones have multiple quests, or the quest was very unique.
At my late game, I would just pay Ron 500 caps in a way just to "fill" the rest of the settlers and rush with their quests.
Some people just don't play like that. For example...after playing through this game so many times, I can't get through the dialogue fast enough. They bore me now, no longer enhance the game and take time away from actually playing. Hmmm, I guess I am more FPS than RPG.Then take your time and learn to appreciate the variety of characters, the quality of the writing and voices and the insane amount of custom lines. Holy shit! I'm so jazzed that all three of your picks are mine!So hard to pick three, so I picked three that I enjoy hearing when I return to their settlements.
Frenchie Jr. – Mellow, friendly, and just pleasant to hear at the settlement.
Silas Canary – Friendly, hardworking gentleman who just wants to settle down and farm.
Sneake – So that he can continue to put my settlements and the settlers in their place.
More flavour dialogue by any of the settlers would be quite welcome. Thank you!
yea man, that's what I mean. TOO many of them and usually they only come with one quest and one only, I wish the one-quest settlers can have a little more for us to rememberThen take your time and learn to appreciate the variety of characters, the quality of the writing and voices and the insane amount of custom lines. I was hoping for a singing settler style of plot. Same with a mail courier plot. I just watched the postman recently.I would just love to have a Bar environment with e small stage just from Frenchie. Let him sing for the people gathered that have a drink there :D
We have a singer in the Wasteland Theater, which is a 3x3 recreational plot. It's only one (and he's a drunk doing parodies) but I'm sure more will be added someday.I was hoping for a singing settler style of plot. Same with a mail courier plot. I just watched the postman recently.
I have seen and placed the theater plot but not the person who's suppose to use it. I do hope a singer plot for any NPC could be done. There's a singing settler mod which uses basically Magnolias scripting. I think either male or female can use it (two different voices). We have a singer in the Wasteland Theater, which is a 3x3 recreational plot. And "mail courier" sounds like a great idea for a communications plot! Would love to see that, not sure if it already has been done.
Thats to big . Is small 1 x1 plot would be great or Frenchie as I give room to place a 1x1 bar plot and place a fe tables and chairs and you create somethign nice with candle light :PWe have a singer in the Wasteland Theater, which is a 3x3 recreational plot. I like the courier idea as well he could just do from point a to point b then return then go to point c down the line. Would make it seem like the com plot has a reason to be build. Although this could be accomplished by the caravan plot I think it would fit coms better.I have seen and placed the theater plot but not the person who's suppose to use it. The courier idea would be good for communication between settlements. Delivering letters between settlements. Maybe even between places like Diamond City. The more creative minds probably concoct a good story line behind something like that.
I think 2x2 would be nice. The 3x3 is the current theater plot I believe.Thats to big . Is small 1 x1 plot would be great or Frenchie as I give room to place a 1x1 bar plot and place a fe tables and chairs and you create somethign nice with candle light :P
The caravan handles trading goods or supply lines. I was thinking post communication would add a little more immersion. You see NPCs with Post Carrier outfits on and post boxes all over the waste.I like the courier idea as well he could just do from point a to point b then return then go to point c down the line.
