Plot snap points

Not sure where to pose this, so I'm putting it here.
My issue is with the interior plots snap points.
They will not snap to an interior wall or to a foundation with a wall on it.
If I place down 2 foundations and put walls up, I can no longer snap a plot down in that space.
I have to do some trickery to reverse the wall to a snap point behind the foundation.
Can the snap point be changed to snap to the interior side of the wall? It is, after all, an interior plot.

I get aggravated that the 3x3 plots don't snap in place when you have it cleared. Not sure if the 3x3 plots do anything better technically or aesthetically, but they never snap in place where I want them. Sometimes they'll snap in place at random angles, but that's annoying. I don't use City Plans because I don't like any of the plans so far, but that leaves me designing each settlement by hand. I'm big on ALL settlements being fortified with foundation walls. The only one that isn't so far is Sanctuary. Sanctuary has such a crazy shape to it's buildable area that walls would be needlessly jagged or leave out huge sections of the possible build area. Spectacle Island doesn't have a full wall since most of it is built up on a higher level & doesn't need a full wall.

Plots, after being placed once dropped I find it confusing. How in the heck do you move or adjust the plot to your liking ? There is no move command once dropped, It would be nice to adjust the height or position of a build once it is dropped into place.

The same way you move anything else in build mode. Point at it, select it, move your crosshair to where you want it to be, press the selection button again to place it there.

If the plot is already developed you have multiple layers that highlight, which one is the best to move keeping all the components together ?

Angle your character so that in workshop mode you can see the vertical arrow indicating the plot's orientation and grab that to ensure all plot elements are in the new location
