Plot icon positions?

I tend to mix and match interior and 1x1 plots in interior spaces and find it aggravating that the icons for 1x1 plots tend to be located much higher in the air than those for a strictly interior plot, so that the 1x1 plot icons usually wind up in the ceiling or on another floor. Is there a way to permanently relocate the icons so that they're all on the same level? I have Place Anywhere loaded and have tried moving the icons around, to mediocre success, but I was wondering if there was some sort of default setting that could be altered so that I don't have to manually adjust each and every plot's icons?

i think you will find the 1x1 icons line up with the other exterior plot sizes (3x3 and 2x2). the 2x1 interior plots are the only sizes designed to fit inside vanilla settlement building patterns, and as such have lower icons that fit under the roofs.

you may be interested in this suggestion to add additional smaller interior plot templates to the framework to provide alternative interior plot sizes.

This will work... until the plot does a refresh or upgrade.

Simple answer: no
It is possible for the addon author to relocate the icons in the building plan itself. This mod can be used for reference:

I wish there was a way to change the icons to use the smaller ones like on the interior plot. Event moving the icons, they do not fit well inside the Sanctuary houses.

Trust me, I have already petitioned Kinggath to add a 1x1 interior plot type. The result is the mod I linked above.
Its worth noting that addon authors can add new plot types to SS2. The caveat is future SS2 updates could break them. i.e. changes are made to SimPlot script properties.
