Question PC version FO4 VR, not sure if Conq. is working

In the tutorial video's I can see that a second or two after creating your new character you have a pop up asking about graphic levels. I never see that pop up.

Those video's seem to be Xbox One, does the PC version pop up menu happen in a different part of the initial game?

I'm thinking Conq. is not loading properly.

I have Workshop, Sim Settlements (no expansions added), Conq, settlement menu manager & hud framework all loaded, I have tried many load orders but that pop up menu never happens.

Are you using the older version of SS as required for VR? The latest version won't work with the official version of VR as it hasn't been updated to the same version as the official PC/Console release. There is a notice under posts about this on the download page.

crap. I was running the latest...grrrrr, I usually catch that stuff when reading through post. I'll go back.

I went back and pulled a older Sim Settlements 3.4.6 and its definitely working. I can get the holo by using cons. command.

Sim Conq. crashes me 4 out of 5 loads.

I have workshop 1.0.5 loaded (picked an older one), I can load every time with this.

Problem is that because these are all old, I don't know which goes with which.

I tried Conq. 4.0 and its the one that crashes me.

I now have both industrial revolution working as well as the other expansion.

Conq. crashes me almost every time I either start the game or once I start loading a save.

I keep trying old versions to see one that might stick.

I can now start a new game with conq. loaded, but I can't tell if its working, I get no pop up menu.

Went all the way through the vault and it never popped up.

Officially even Bethesda has stopped supporting the VR version so unfortunately trial and error is the only way to get the right version. You can use the release dates to find what version should match as SS mods are always updated together.
