Patch 3.0.2 is available now!

You only need to update the main mod.

- Fixes tons of bugs.

- Dramatically increases the speed of foundation level construction - specifically the scrapping phase.

- All cities will now default to being mostly autonomous, with an Involvement holotape setting to allow you to quickly change how much you need to be engaged with the settlers needs in your cities.

Click here for the full patch notes.

I'm not sure I understand by "update the main mod". I now have sim settlements 2.1.8, 3.0.0, 3.0.1 installed using nexus mod manager. Should I uninstall all of them and install this only?

Yes. Uninstall and delete all of them, then install 3.0.2.

You should never have more than one version of Sim Settlements installed at a time. Always completely uninstall and delete the old version before downloading and installing the new one. You can have the expansion packs Industrial Revolution and Rise of the Commonwealth (which are separate mods on Nexus) installed at the same time as Sim Settlements, but you should also never have more than one version of each installed.

Hm, now I have each interior plot 3 times in workshop mode: once under SPECIAL, costing absolutely nothing, and twice under SIM SETTLEMENTS, one costing only 1 Steel and 1 ASAM sensor, and one, again, nothing.

The ones under Special are normal, those are the ones you've stored.

I'm pretty certain I didn't store any plots in that settlement. They also all appeared craftable.

Can you add a option to set the involvement setting to just use the global settings?

I appreciate this update! Sanctuary is developing well while I go and do quests and stuff. I now get how the settlement grows over time. I thought once the initial cinematic had completed, that was my layout, and all the plots would plug in to the existing level 0 structure. Cool to return and see Industrials getting set up on open spaces without my needing to be there! It does make it tricky to add plots when I don't know what is going to get added where, but nbd - they'll scrap mine and add the pre-planned ones and I can always tweak it later. Nice work, all!

Is it normal that there's no longer a popup message when you donate items?
The donation pop-ups should still be occurring, though they can be delayed a bit.

They won't scrap yours, they'll happily build right over them :)

On the other hand, you can shove even a level 3 plot somewhere else that isn't buried inside something via place anywhere and it'll move the plot base. Then go back to where it was and use the ASAM sensor to refresh the plot so the innards jump to the new location as well.

As of 3.02 I don't get popups, though the desk seems to be counting. At least as far as weapons or gear are concerned. I donated a bunch of drugs also. No popups, no count. I don't know which category they're supposed to fill. Is it food?

correction: I think one of the two under Sim Settlements still actually does require all the things, it just doesn't display the recipe anymore. I can craft only 13 of these, but 29 of those which require 1 steel and 1 sensor. In the Special menu, it's also 13.
